My only caution is to those of you who may have a Garmin GPS (in particular the 250W). Be very careful when you open the case. For reasons that are somewhat incomprehensible, Garmin chose to glue, rather than solder, the ribbon connectors to the circuit board. And their choice of glue was very poor - as the connectors can easily be disconnected from the circuit board.
