"In my opinion, Battdepot.com is a scam and deserves every negative review it receives. Purchased a laptop battery w/2 yr warranty that failed after 17 mos. Followed their RMA instructions verbatim including cost for return USPS shipping. Company denied receiving return in lieu of delivery confirmation. Multiple emails unanswered, website live chat unavailable, no live customer service answers phone, only recorded message. Total Scam...avoid this online merchant!!!"

"Purchased a battery from this company on 11-9-21. Battery was sent to my house and then sent back to Battdepot.
We have Ring system and my wife is home everyday. We see any delivery trucks. Item was returned to them according to tracking with no explaination. I have contacted BattDepot several times with no response. Live chat in December2021 indicated that they were following up with the carrier and my battery would arrive soon. As of 1-5-22 still no response and now live chat on the website is not live? Their phones do not put me in touch with any live person. I plan to contact the Better Business Burea about this company. Buyers beware of this company. "

I chose the best battery for my laptop, 7300mah and paid a premium for it. What did I receive in the post? a 5200mah battery, and when I asked for assistance resolving what I thought was a genuine mistake...
No, they just didn't have it in stock, sent me the poorest battery available (not even one of original spec - laptop's original battery was 6800mah...) and slapped a sticker on it for the product code of the more expensive one. Said as such and that all they could offer was £5 off a £40 battery order or for a refund, provided I ship it back _at my own expense_.
When a battery of that low quality, is about £20.
Avoid them like the plague."

Purchased laptop battery with expedited delivery at extra cost within a couple of weeks it stopped working ,went through RMA process and was advised that I would need send back the battery at cost to me which I think is totally unfair as it’s there problem it failed so quickly
5 days later and it has been shipped back to me using the slowest delivery method available
The story goes on
The second replacement turned up and again failed within 1 week , so again I had to ship the defective battery back at my expense and was given a partial refund less there shipping costs to me
As it stands I am now out of pocket the sum of £18 for products that were not fit for purpose

"Poor customer service and poor product. Battery initially charged and held a charge so naturally disposed of the box. It soon became apparent that the battery was causing CPU utilisation on my laptop to ramp up and screen would go blank. Both these issues resolved when installing old battery. Within 3 days of receiving battery I paid return postage and was further disappointed when refund was 15% less than I paid due to lack of original packaging. I could understand a restocking fee if the return was due to me deciding I didn't want it, but it was clearly faulty. You confirmed it was a suitable replacement. Time to review your processes BattDepot."

"Ordered a battery from BatteryDepot, followed the install procedure, Lenovo laptop refused to charge and gave me an error about an incompatible battery. Asked to return it and was not happy they would not provide a pre-paid label so either I pay $10 to return it or lose $69. Well I had no choice. I got refunded but out $10 shipping - so I paid $10 to learn never to purchase from them again. "
"I have bought a laptop battery from BattDepot. It was delivered on time. The battery has become bulgy in 6 months. When asked for a warranty, they gave me a TMA number and asked me to send back the item via post/courier. When I approached courier service and post office, they rejected the package by saying prohibited item. I cant send back as it is prohibited item for normal people. Only the business people can create a shipping bill for such an item. Battdepot people won't send a new one until they receive and do all diagnostic works. Finally, I cant send the item, they won't send new item until they receive the old item. So finally the warranty won't work in the UK. I lost my money."
"I bought a laptop battery from them. After initially charging and discharging it 3-4 times as instructed, the battery went flat in a couple of weeks time. They did agree to send a replacement, once I'd returned the original one. That was ok, BUT the replacement battery was even worse than the first one. It went flat within a few days after the initial 3-4 times of charging and discharging it. They don't offer refund because it's more than 30 days since I bought the initial battery. PRODUCT NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE - AVOID.

I reached out to the company. I got an auto-generated email to give them 7-14 days to investigate. After 7 days I reached out to the company to enquire about my parcel again. Again I got an auto-generated email asking for another 7-14 days to investigate. After another 7 days, I reached out with a complaint letter asking for an update. The response... they're still investigating!
I asked to get a refund in that case. the company said they need to receive a refund from the couriers and were not able to tell me when I will get my money. All they kept repeating is they need time and no specific details of when I expect a refund.
I had to follow up with updates re: my parcel and chase after it, as the company would not update me. I am very disappointed, as I read many good reviews on Trustpilot, however now I do believe most of them are fake.
Right now I am out of £50, no order, no refund, lost time and nerves. My next step is to ask my bank to get the money back. Think twice before placing an order with this company, as you're better off ordering from somewhere else."
"I bought a Replacement Notebook Battery for HP Pavilion x360 13-u138Ca 11.55 Volt Li-Polymer Laptop Battery (3400mAh/ 39Wh). After 2 weeks, it stopped working! I uninstalled and reinstalled battery drivers, updated bios, I even ran a system diagnostics for component tests. Nothing can make my computer recognize the battery. This leaves me to believe THE BATTERY must be FAULTY! What a waste of money and time to buy a faulty equivalent product. Never again!
UPDATES>>> The company contacted me and told me they have a 30day refund policy so I should submit a form. This return entails shipping back the item at my own expense and wait for them to contact me back with their decision. I also found out there were many people who had exactly the same issues as I did. Absolutely unethical business practice!"

"This company has a very low profile attitude towards costumers, they don't reply to the phone calls, very late and eventually to emails, when you go to their office the receptionist talks barely English and and answers as a recorded machine.
I bought a battery that was wrong because in their website was listed only the generic name of the battery so I supposed it worked for my camera as well and it didn't.
They asked 12$ if you go to pick it up yourself which I find it ridiculous and when it's the time to refund you they don't really do it and when you ask to prove it they never reply back.
Of course the only amount they give you back is the mount for the battery.
