They told me that they will refund my shipping cost before I return it and they only refunded me the $59.88 cost of the battery. This has set me back $27.46 because of the shipping cost. Do not Buy anything from them because you are not Guarantee a good battery or a refund on shipping. If I have an option to not pick a star I would not pick any star

"This is BY FAR the worst company I've ever had the misfortune of attempting to do business with via the Internet ever. And I've done quite a bit. The $20 product they sold me didn't work. Only tried to use it one time within four weeks of receiving it. I sent it back to them at my own expense requesting a refund. Three weeks later after repeated emails they told me their "testing" showed that the product worked fine and they refused to provide me a refund and said they were sending it back to me even though I asked them not to. Dumb! Doesn't work with my specified laptop. Don't want it back. What a terrible way to treat a customer."

I was just a day away from driving my daughter to her new summer job placement a half-day's drive from our home. It was crucial that she have a working laptop for the summer and I was in charge of 'tuning-up' her machine. Unfortunately, while overhauling the unit (I was upgrading to Win7) I discovered that her 4 year old battery needed immediate replacement.

I looked around but I was stuck because I couldn't find any local shops that had the one we needed. Then I remembered BattDepot! Five minutes later I had completed my online order. AND, in less than 24 hours I had the new battery in my hands ready to install -- even though we live in Ontario and it shipped from BC!

The new battery is doing great, as is the 'new' laptop -- and I have one very happy daughter.

By the way, afterwards, I actually DID manage to find a store (from a big electronics chain) that had a new battery -- but given my schedule and the store location, it would have been impossible to have made it work in the time frame I had. Not to mention that even with the overnight courier charge, the total cost of my BattDepot purchase was less than two-thirds of the list price that the big chain store wanted (so much for their claim of guranteed lowest prices!).
