"I ordered a distressed wood mermaid from them in October 2023. The screwed the entire shipping process up of this item where I input the shipping address how it was supposed to be and they held it for 3 weeks because they thought I wasn’t going to be there because it was addressed to a hotel. News flash, when a customer inputs a shipping address, just ship it unless the customer asks to hold it for a certain period of time through your customer service department which I did not ask to have done. ALSO, the item ended up arriving the total other direction than what was pictured. AVOID THIS PLACE! Shop anywhere else but here. You will thank me later! "
"Do not buy anything from this place! 1st, I could not write a review on their site. I tried but got a message that I already wrote a review. I DID NOT. I am assuming that they put a review in my name so I couldn't post a review. 2nd, their customer service is AWEFUL! I made a mistake in my initial order. On the SAME DAY (just an hour or so later) I reached out to make the change. I emailed several other times to make sure they got the change correct and of course, it was delivered with out my changes. I asked for a refund and haven't heard back. 3rd, the piece of art I bought was misrepresented. It is a piece of wood with a picture of a surfboard on it. The picture makes it look like it is in the shape of a surfboard and that is mounted on a wall. No; it is a rectangle piece of wood with a picture of a wall with a surfboard on it. My mistake in thinking is was a cool surfboard with a picture on it. Shop somewhere else!"
"Was charged $140 for an order I never received!! They never sent me a confirmation with an order number. All they did was take my money then disappear. We may be ecommerce experts, but our dedicated personnel act like the neighborhood beach boutique owner, greeting you warmly and easing your mind whenever a worry arises. Unlike other online stores that resort to robots and slow, inaccurate automated systems, every single Beach Decor Shop order is handled with human care. That means if you every have a fast question, want to make a change to an order or need to cancel a purchase, all you have to do is pick up the phone and dial our friendly family of beach decorating pros." However there is NO WAY TO CALL THEM!. This is a sham company. No way to call and get my money refunded."
"I ordered a clock on May 2nd and as of May 26th still no clock. I emailed them a week ago and still no reply. The only contact that I have is a receipt that was emailed to me. I did not see a charge on my credit card but will keep an eye on my statements. I'm an easy going guy, and if they were out of stock of the clock I ordered or if there was a problem with my credit card you would think that
they would contact me. Will not be shopping at the Beach Decor Shop any longer. "

"I have received two of these lamps, both came damaged. The first one we thought was due to mishandling during shipping, but when the second one came, there was no possible way for the damage that was there to have been done enroute, it had to have been packaged damaged. The damage in both was that the light socket is completely mangled: pulled out of the length of the lamp, bent on the bottom and the top not allowing a bulb in, and the in one of the lamps the metal brackets for the harp to fit into was bent 90 degrees. In addition to the damage, both lamp bases were not aligned. There were three "layers" of a square base tiered on top of one another, in both lamps the alignment was off. In one it was so far off that you could see the wood where the spraying of the paint did not cover. To their credit, when the first came damaged their customer support apologized and processed a new order right away and we did not need to deal with the hassle of shipping the broken lamp back, we were able to just throw it away. The second lamp came today and I've requested a refund. I wish I had read some of these reviews before paying $218 for the lamp."
"I ordered the Shell Hall Table, a sculptured metal accent table. The one I received was painted with heavy black distress marks, unlike the subtle distressing on the web photo. Also, the metal bracing strip at the top was misaligned with the wood top. The seller claimed that since the item was supposed to be distressed, he wouldn't take it back. My email with comparison photos and my review sent to the website remain unanswered. Since I liked the table and didn't want another poorly finished one sent in exchange, I painted over the black marks and my husband sawed off the projecting metal strip."
"We ordered Christmas presents for our family in Hawaii. When we were on the site and checked out it stated that the shipping was a little over $12.00. We then got an email that said because they were being shipped from 2 different locations we needed to pay an additional $175.00 for shipping. After i wrote them asking them to ship them as it stated when we checked out or cancel our order, they cancelled our order. I do not recommend doing business with this company."
