"No one was around the whole time, one girl came out of the back in a kimono, looked straight at me, we made eye contact and she looked away. My main goal was to buy shoes. The shoe selection was minimal at best. I found a pair of Bobs and fell in love, there was only one pair my size and they had a stain on them. When I got to the checkout I was not greeted by Nicole. She did not have a name tag on, but her name is on my receipt. She was not friendly in any way. I told her that I found a pair of leggings that had a hole in them and she said Yeah that's why they are on clearance. I also showed her the shoes and asked if she could give me a discount and she said that she couldn't and they have to be damaged out, as in, I could not even purchase them. I explained that was my main reason for coming in she said that it was the Company who will not let them be sold and that she didn't know Who put them out on the floor. I explained to her that I have retail management experience and she said that she couldn't help that the company does that. I told her to me, it seemed the company doesn't care about their shoppers and she said, Nope. She could tell I was upset, so she said she would ask the manager, but they also said no. There was no dialogue, I had to look up my account and she never explained what needed to be done. I took out my ID and she never asked for it, I punched in my social, no words being said other than her asking for my ZIP. I went to put my ID up, and she reached her hand out to take it. Again, no words being said. When I came in, I was not greeted by any of the 3 people standing in the Jewelry counter, never talked to once. My visit ended with a very rude associate who did not smile and treated me as if I was a burden on her. She treated me as if I was just looking for a discount I'm sad that I did not get my shoes, hard to believe that Bealls is a type of company who doesn't value their customers. I spent $180, I will be closing my card out."
