"The discounts (40% off most of the products) drew me into the store. (I am an enthusiastic TJ Maxx shopper...) however the non-clothing items were only 10% off & were very pricey...no dice. I am a tactile shopper - online shopping is not satisfying. I like Beall's sale racks, although it wasn't hard to guess why most of the clothes were discounted (garish, old-bag-lady clothes with odd raglan sleeves make it hard to put on a coat & large, ruffled bottom edges on tops tend to make one's rear end look huge...not really quality fabric, either...however I was able to find some items that were to my taste - it just took a long time...sizes were mixed (other shoppers, I'm sure were responsible)."

"So tonight we walked in to have our son try on a pair of slacks and a dress shirt for school. We were told by 2 associates that the Fitting Rooms were closed and to come back tomorrow. The store closes at 6pm it was 4:30pm and we checked the fitting rooms and there was no reason for them to be closed. So we left and no purchase was made. Its sad this store is closing but I can see why...no customer service. Good luck!"
