"I purchased a blouse and paid with my debit card. Then decided to purchase shoes and found a 20% coupon online. Asked clerk to return my blouse and allow me to re-purchase with shoes for discount ($79 blouse). Said she could not put it back on my debit card and would have to give me the amount on a card. Did not understand why she couldn't put it back on my card. Used the card to re-purchase the blouse. Tried to return it today because it did not work out for the event I was shopping for. They would not put it back on my debit card because I had bought it with the store credit, which should have never been given me. Mgr. admitted they should have put it back on my card last night, but still would not give me credit on my debit card. It was the mistake of the store clerk, not mine, and they did not make it right. Over the years I have shopped a lot at Bealls, but do not plan to return."
