"The store seems to lack energy even the store associates seem lethargic. When I walked into the store, I was lucky to see the exact item I was looking for hanging on a large rack of clothing. I did not understand why an entire rack of clothing was standing in the aisle just inside the door; it certainly did not give a good impression of the store. Then, when I saw what I wanted, I checked the brand. I had to hunt for a sales associate to determine where the item was located. I finally saw someone, but she did not have on a name tag or Bealls tag, so I was not sure that she worked at the store. I approached her, anyway, and she gave me fairly good directions for finding the item. I noticed as I walked to that area of the store, there was not a single associate to be found in the clothing area. One customer was hopelessly waiting at the counter to check out. I saw the same customer three or four minutes later still waiting. I was waiting in line to check out at the service desk (there were three customers in front of me), and a sales associate volunteered to check me out at another station. That gesture and the directions for the items for which I was searching were about the only positives of my shopping experience in the store."
