HORRID. The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered

"Ordered place 3 weeks ago and cred card changed. Delivery promised with 5 days. Can’t find article, out of stock, never shipped? Meanwhile it will take 3 more weeks to process refund to credit card. So tying up my money for 6 weeks. No satisfaction, insincere apology. HORRID treatment "

"I placed an order on 9-13-20 and it is now 2 months later 11-14-20 and they never shipped my order, I have called three times, they tell me that I will receive a refund but it never comes!!!
No order and no refund either!!!
Terrible Experience and I have filed a claim with the BBB, hoping I will get my money back!

Most Reliable and Stress Free

"Most Reliable and Stress Free
Proud of Bed Bath and Beyond (BBB) for best system and best service, that is the reason I try to buy products from BBB as possible as I can.
I ordered online and the product was delivered timely and the delivery person was very courteous.
She even took photo of the product abd she placed in my front porch and I saw it via my email BBB sent, also she rang the bell.
Other companies (especially UPS and USPS) make too many mistakes like deliver to wrong address and packages are ripped or opened and many more problems - very disappointed and cause too much stress.
But with BBB, no stress - I am very happy to give BBB business.
Not only that, even when I go to store, they treat customers with courteous and kind d manner
Thank you very much and proud of you, BBB!!! 2 Thumbs up, BBB!!!

Do not buy from Bed Bath & Beyond

"I ordered 2 queen mattresses on 9/5/2020 with a delivery date on or before 9/15/2020. It’s ow 10/9/2020 and still no delivery date, after hours on the phones with customers services they said there was nothing they could do. They would not cancel and refund my money nor could they tell me when the mattresses would be delivered. I have children sleeping on the floor and Bed Bath & Beyond does not care once they get your money.

Again they will do absolutely nothing to help you and honestly don’t care.

Do not buy from them there are plenty of stores that sell the same thing and care about customers

"my very first time in bed bath and beyond and I'll never hot back again. I wont ever recommend any to go there.... when I get in the store no one can be found to help me.... the after finding the aisle I wanted 4 workers hovered in the area no one ever asked if i needed help they followed me and my daughter a few aisles until we left the cart and walked out."

Horrible customer service

"To say I am disappointed in Bed Bath and Beyond is an understatement. My boyfriend ordered me a vacuum cleaner I really wanted for Mother’s Day from the website because I had a 20% off coupon and so it was a really great deal! I was super excited. When the delivery came, I opened the box, and inside was a much more expensive espresso maker. Hmmm. So I contacted customer service and they sent a label to send the espresso machine back, and said once they received it, they’d send the vacuum. I was annoyed that they wouldn’t send my vacuum unless they had their other item back but it gets so much worse! I sent the espresso machine back and waited and waited. While I was waiting, I received about 3 confusing emails, which although didn’t make complete sense, kept telling me that the vacuum was on its way. So two weeks later, I still haven’t received the vacuum. I waited over an hour to text with customer service who informed me that now the vacuum is sold out and on back order. They didn’t know when it would be back in stock. I asked for a refund. So now, two weeks after, still no refund! So now we are waiting - again - to text with a customer service rep to ask where the refund is. What a headache!! And I still end up without the thing I wanted. So it’s basically hassle upon hassle for no reason. And the customer service so far has been beyond awful. I may go to a store again in the future, but no matter what, I will NEVER order from the website again! Just an unpleasant experience overall. I mean, had they shipped me the right item in the first place, I would have the vacuum and be perfectly happy. Instead, I’m STILL trying to get my refund. When I do get it, I will reorder the vacuum from a different retailer. So unimpressed with Bed Bath and Beyond’s customer service. Honestly, they really don’t deserve one star."

Worst Customer Service Ever!

"I ordered a memorial stone from them on Apr 20, delivery was to be May 20 -25. It's now Jun 4. I used the Fedex tracking number and saw my order was delivered to the customs centre in Buffalo on May 20. It's been there for 3 weeks. I tried emailing BB&B and received an auto-reply about Covis and delays. I contacted Fedex and they told me BB&B hasn't given them a Cdn shipping number yet and that's why it's still sitting in Buffalo. I called BB&B today and was told there is a huge backlog at the border because of Covid. I asked if this was for everyone or just BB&B and was told everyone. I said that's very strange because I order and ship things to the US all the time and average delivery is 9 - 10 days during Covid so why is my package in Buffalo for 3 weeks? I said, it's just you who have the big backlog because you haven't processed anything and assigned shipping details, right? He replied they have a big backlog (he can only say what's on his customer service reply sheet) and that items coming from US vendors sit at the border for 4 weeks because of the pandemic and that if mine has been there for 3 weeks already, it should be coming soon. Can you give me a date? He said, soon. Seriously??? You are just blown off no matter how you contact them and they don't tell you the truth. Lesson learned, if you are ordering something from BB&B that can also be ordered directly from the vendor, definitely go with the direct seller. Bed Bath & Beyond is beyond useless.
Update: Jun 5. The package arrived this morning! This, after being told it would be another week in customs and then a couple more weeks for delivery. BB&B obviously has no clue where their vendor shipments are and have no ability (or desire?) to follow up on them.

ORDERED A BREVILLE, ENDED UP WITH A JUICER AND NO RESPONSE FROM BB&B

"I ordered a Breville and received a juicer? I didn't order a juicer nor do I need a juicer? I've been calling them nonstop and after over an hour long wait time each time, a representative picked up twice and stated that he couldn't hear me and just hung up. Seriously? How inconsiderate. I have other things to do than waste my life correcting YOUR MISTAKES. I know that's a total lie that the rep couldn't hear me because I kept saying that I have all bars on my iPhone. I need my money back and they need to make up for all my wasted time and NO BREVILLE. Someone needs to contact me ASAP or I will continue to escalate this. This is FRAUD."

WORST HEARTLESS COMPANY

"The worst heartless company I have ever shopped at! I asked for a refund for the Beyond + membership that I signed up for on March 17, 2020. I signed up because I wanted to redecorate my house but due to the virus I can not. All the stores closed a few days later and the online shopping has limited or out of stock items. AND shipping is slow, but it does not matter because I can not afford to buy anything. Well, they refused to refund me. The **** the phone said she and I quote "I DO NOT CARE about your situation and I am dealing with a world wide pandemic"! SERIOUSLY, everyone is. Well, I called to complain and the girl hung the phone up on me! For your best interest DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS MEMBERSHIP OR SHOP HERE! These people dont care about their customers and the prices are inflated anyway. Honestly I have never had an experience like this before. I am speechless."

"I did not just spend $200 at Bed Bath & Beyond for them to deliver my towels with the security tags on them. When I called customer service I was told either to return them or go to the store to have them removed. Poor customer service and time wasted! It should not be my responsibility to fix the issue and I should have been recompensed for the inconvenience!"

Return Policy for tech gadgets is not disclosed!

"Purchased two Facebook Portals on 12/23 and was not told there was a 30 day return policy. Tried to return them early this month and was told NOT POSSIBLE!! I had nothing on my receipt stating the return policy. I complained and was promised a phone call from management which NEVER came. Very disappointed and will never shop there again regardless of what they have to offer. Deceptive does not work, Bed Bath and Beyond!"

BEYOND+ Membership: Tactics to silently charge you

"Very disappointing experience with Bed Bath & Beyond, their membership program and the customer support.

The membership program was extended silently and automatically using the credit card data. No warnings or notifications were sent to me neither before the renewal date, nor after it. No texts, no emails.

It incurred a hefty late payment fee from the bank. The customer support was not client oriented at all. They said that their wonderful terms and conditions do not allow them to cancel the membership and refund me the renewal.

Technically they are right, but their policy is not client oriented and fair. I will never shop with this store again.

Be careful with the membership, and don't expect much help from the customer support.

"I made a purchase instore January the 2nd. The estimated delivery date was between the 7th and the 12th today is the 14th and my order is still processing. Not even shipped yet. 2 weeks to process an order. I reached out to The Help Center and they said it'll be between the 16th and 20th delivered that is 3 weeks from when I placed the order. I cancelled the order and will go purchase the same item elsewhere.

In the Farmington Bed Bath and Beyond are simply rude!

"Rude people and lazy ones at Bed Bad and Beyond in Farmington, Connecticut.
When I asked for some infos about a Christmas Tree, 2 employees simply answered : ”daaa”. One continued to apply lipstick to her lips, the other giggled.
What funny or stupid of me asking a question about a product?
It is not the first time that I found them rude and unwilling to help.
Very sad.
