"I placed an order with Ben's Bazaar on December 9th and was guaranteed delivery by December 20th. On December 20th I received an email that the item had just shipped, ground!! The guy in customer service apologized, but was not willing to try and track down the item. When I suggested he adjust the shipping with Fedex so I would receive the gift by the morning of the 23rd, he said only for an added charge! Clearly they are only interested in the sale. Order at your own risk and cross your fingers that you don't have a problem with your order because if you do they don't really care! "
"Ordered a product that was very well priced and elected to have it shipped second day. They charged my credit card immediately, then switched to radio silence....No emails, no shipping info., no nothing. Over the next week, I called their customer service at least 20 times at all different hours of the day. They never once answered. I got the same "after hours" message every time. Finally, I gave up and bought the product from another seller. A full week later they "found" the order and shipped it (and by the way, it's coming by ground, not 2nd day). "Ooops, too late, don't need it now!" Pay a 20 percent restocking fee and return shipping?...no way. Ben's can eat these extra costs, or maybe Google checkout will take care of it, but it won't be me. I suggest you try calling the toll-free number BEFORE placing an online order. You'll see exactly what I mean."
"I would give this company an A. Great website. Cheapest price for "Repti Deep Dome Clamp Lamp" (NEW) that I could find online. It beat all online prices I can search for including all amazon.com prices. Shipping & handling was $10.18 which was a few dollars more than amazon or ebay sellers but it was expected as to keep the overall price of the item near market value. Item arrived in great condition. I ordered on a Sunday, recieved the item by Thursday same week. "

"Order was extremely over-priced. I paid $59.63 for an aquarium hood, (including shipping) and when received, I discovered that the hood was made of such cheap plastic that it wasn't worth even thirty dollars.
The item was broken in two places when received.
It took the company almost a month to ship the order out.
Though the description on the item said that it would fit all standard hex aquariums, the item did not fit my standard hex aquarium.
I called the company and asked for some sort of compensation, and I was told that at my expense, I could ship it back to them, and then afterward, I could pay them to put it back on their shelves.
The item did not meet expectations, and neither did the company's service. The item was over-priced and of poor quality, the customer service was laughable, and really, what kind of company charges you 20% of your order price (besides your shipping it back to them) to put a defective, shoddy product "back on their shelves?""
