"They debited my account before item was shipped even though I was told that would not happen. When I failed to receive the Garmin i3 when I expected, I was informed the item was out of stock & would not be expected for several days. I was on hold for about 30 minutes every time I called & the "manager" was very rude. The first person I talked to said my money would be refunded immediately. When I called back a few days later, I was told it would take several days to receive the refund. When I complained that I should have never been charged the rude manager said "That's just how it is" & hung up."
"After looking around the net, I decided to purchase a video camera from bestdigitalonline.com. They weren't the lowest price, but they were pretty close.
This was on a Friday. On Monday, I received an email saying I had to call in and "confirm my order". I called the number, sat on hold for awhile, was rudely transfered around, then eventually talked to someone.
He took my order information again. Then casually asked if I needed anything else... like tapes or lens. Nothing wrong with that. Then he asked if I needed a battery and charger. I said no. To which he replied "It doesn't come with one". I thought that was strange. He said that there are retail and wholesale models. the wholesale don't come with batteries and some other cables. He then quoted me a price for the battery and charger that was significantly higher than they sell for individually online. The total wold also be more than many reputable sites list the "retail" package at.
I canceled my order and purchased a legit package for less elsewhere."
