"I ordered a card game (6 Nimmt!) which was clearly counterfeit when it arrived. Cards were of varying weights of paper, all of them very thin and flimsy, packaging does not match information on officially printed copies, and the cards are cut to varying shapes when they should all be standard cards with rounded edges.
I tried to contact BOB support regarding a refund, but was only given the standard boilerplate regarding restocking fees and shipping costs. When I asked for an RMA I was asked to submit another request, despite that being my original request.

No customers’ service number that you can call; only emails, and their email support is HORRIBLE.
They tell you that they would reply to your emails in 1 or 2 business days, which is actually an auto reply: “Thank you for your email and rest assured that we will do our best to assist you. Your case has already been assigned to one of our customer support representatives and he will be contacting you within 1 - 2 BUSINESS days…….”
Then you wait ANOTHER 1 -2 BUESSINESS day (holidays excluded) to get a reply which would not really solve the problem.
When you send another follow-up email, you will then get another auto reply: “…Your case has already been assigned to one of our customer support representatives and he will be contacting you within 1 - 2 BUSINESS days…….”
The loops just go back and forth.
And here is what happened to me recently:
Placed my order on May 1, 2012.
Emailed BestOfferBuy that I had NOT received my order after their estimated delivery date.
They replied “We regret to inform you that the following item(s) you have ordered
is currently out-of-stock…..” And recommended an alternative item which would have the same functionality of the original item ordered.
Accepted offer, only received a WRONG item.
BestOfferBuy requested to send them a photo for verification.
Verified, BestOfferBuy replied “…We have found 4-pin adapter now and we will arrange and resend for the correct item within the next 1-5 business days.”
Received nothing, more email chases. Then they replied “I am sorry that we do not have 4-pin one now. A refund will be issued to you within the next 24 hours…..”
Received no refund, still more email chases. Then they replied “Please be advised that we have canceled the unclaimed refund and direct refunded you today, please check your account within the next 24 hours….”
Shocked, I received no notification of any refund being issued. Emailed them again, they replied “…A refund will be re-issued to you within the next 24 hours. The refund will be processed by PayPal….”
To date, still received nothing. Latest reply was “Thank you for your email and rest assured that we will do our best to assist you. Your case has already been assigned to one of our customer support representatives and he will be contacting you within 1 - 2 BUSINESS days…….”
If you received nothing or have email mis-communication issues, they would tell you “please check your spam mail folder” or “may be experiencing a software glitch, may not have received our reply...” or simply go check their holidays schedule, pay attention to their Chinese New Year Holidays, during which they are closed for 10+ days.
Conclusion is, it’s your own risk to bare the loss of time, expectation, energy, etc to deal with this store! Highly recommend it to your worst enemies!
