"I found Bestbyte computers through Google's Froogle service when I was searching for a power supply for my old Pentium 4 computer which has the special 6pin auxiliary power for the old Intel 850 chipsets with RDRAM. The PSU I was searching for isn't available at retailers or the major etailers due to it being phased out or discontinued by it's manufacturer, so I had the option of purchasing a generic $20 PSU for my old Pentium 4 machine, but I wanted a Tier 1 PSU with quality components that would last years alongside my old machine.

The item arrived in 3 days, on a Saturday (thanks USPS) and was packaged well to protect my merchandise. I highly recommend Bestbyte computers and I would do business with them again in the future."

"There was a minor problem with the Didigtal Meter I ordered and received. After emailing them about the problem they sent a reply suggesting a few different fixes. Tried them but didn't fix the problem, sent another email and they said return for replacement. No questions asked, very good about answering emails . "Shipping is extremely slow. I ordered 4pin mini B USB cables. I readily admit that I mistakenly ordered the wrong kind of 4pin mini B cables. However, the first shipment was 5pin mini B cables, so I did not catch my mistake. Best Byte shipped another set, again very slow. Once again 5pin cables. The Arrogant sales person insisted that I was not counting the pins correctly. I finally asked for a refund and was chaged a 15% restocking fee AND an extra fee for "incorrectly reported receiving incorrect product". THEY were CLEARLY 5 pin connectors. I looked at them under a microscope to make sure.

"Today I was placing my weekly orders and came across something I wanted from Best Byte Inc. I placed my order and paid through PayPal immediately. Later on, I received a refund stating “Message From Seller:
Incorrect payment amount. Invoice total is $7.17. Please reorder or resend the correct amount.”

I sent exactly what it told me to send. The invoice said:

Grand Total$4.70”

It still, at this moment, says this grand total on their website. I had chosen the included shipping (usps). When I asked them why they wanted to charge more, they said "It appears there is no ship charge on the order. " I think it makes sense there'd be no ship charge, when it's "included." Bait and switch? I don’t know, but what kind of company sends out their invoice, then rejects payment and asks for more? I’ve never had this problem with my 2 other primary companies, Acortech and Newegg.

I guess I'd recommend staying with the bigger companies that offer better service."
