"Best of Maine Corp Printing is amazing. I spent hours trying to find a good shop that would print a large format posters with high quality and good price. I got a couple posters printed including the one below of my wife and our pup. Quality is great, after 3 years colors are still crisp and not faded. Colors are brilliant and there is no clipping on blacks or whites like you would see on a 10 dollar Costco poster. Huge prints brighten up the room and with Best Maine Corp you can get something that looks better and is cheaper than mass produced prints in Ikea. Totally Awesome Great!"

"I decided to try Best of Maine because of their amazingly low price. However, low price does come at a cost: poorer quality of materials and slower customer service.

I purchased 2 - 38"x52" canvases since the website says they handle up to 52". After waiting a week and not hearing back, I wrote asking for a status of my order. They replied, and mentioned they are out of 52" canvas and asked if I could resize my image for 44".

I provided a new image at 44", and when the invoice came it was for one. I had to follow up again saying I needed two prints. While the matter was settled, it took at least a day between each interaction - which added to the delay in getting the print.

When the order did arrive, the tube was exactly 44" long - which didn't provide room for the protective end caps. A handmade cardboard end cap was made, one which was hanging open barely attached by the packing tape. As a result, dirt had gotten in the tube - but did not damage the print.

I ordered this as a canvas roll so I could wrap it around my own wood stretcher bars. When I did stretch the canvas, the corners cracked the ink. In addition, it didn't appear there was any protective coating applied to the canvas before shipping.

Since this order was a test of vendors, I had also ordered from another vendor at the same time. The results of that other vendor had far better image resolution. I also got my order within a week from the other vendor, while working with Best of Maine took over two weeks to finally get my product.

While the price was cheaper in the beginning, the quality of the end result and the lengthy delay erased any initial savings.

I will not order from Best of Maine again."
