"Ordered an ankle brace, received email it was on back order and no charge would be made. Received my credit card statement with a charge for the brace I never received. I email company with instructions to immediately credit my account. They started a cycle of emails about canceling the order they had already said they canceled and not crediting my account as I instructed since my order was supposedly unavailable and canceled. I contacted my credit card company to have them take back their payment. I notified this scam business I had reported them to my credit card company and would report them to PayPal. They then said they were canceling my ordered they supposedly had canceled a month ago. They will waste your time, stall at refunding you, and play mind games around your order....if you are unaware there is a time limit for filing a dispute with PayPal and your credit card company, they can run the time out, drive you nuts and keep your money with their stalling tactics. Stay away from this fraudulent scamming “business”. PayPal should ban them. "

I called them days later and alerted them that they owe me a refund for the overnight shipping, they refused and made up bogus reasons of why it is fine to lie to customers. "First Better Braces took 5 weeks to send out my knee brace/Ico-pack. Then they sent me a used Ice/knee brace that had holes in it. I can give them credit this time tho, the first time I ordered a brace the box was empty! I think they have a bunch of stoners filling these orders and running the company! 3 months later after 4 calls hearing that their system is down or they are in the process of moving warehouses, I still don't have my refund.

"Shipping to takes so long I cancelled item. Email confirms cancellation but pkg arrives anyway. Refuse delivery at UPS truck and pkg confirmed returned. More than a month later, multiple phone calls, NO REFUND, no return call from supervisor. Filing claim thru credit card."
"I had ordered from them previously, no problems. Needed another one, now the price is double what it was less than 2 years ago. When I asked why I was told "it's a different product." No....it's the SAME brace. but I ordered it, a woman's. It arrived in about a week. If I was a tiny Asian lady perhaps it would have fit my heel, but alas, I am not (despite thin heels and slim), so I sent it back. I re-ordered again. Billed. They sent the wrong foot this time. Called them back- "what is your order number?" Can't find with my name and address. Finally I located that, told them I was sending the wrong one back, send the CORRECT one. Now I've been billed twice, $84. so far and have yet to receive the correct one, nor do they email me back, and if I call they now want both order numbers. Worst service EVER. I'm demanding refunds from credit card "
"I placed an order on 10/12/18 it was accepted and the order immediately went to processing, and that's where it sits for almost two weeks.
Their "customer service" reps claim they've sent emails to the "warehouse" but at this point I'm going to have to go buy a brace elsewhere as I expect I probably won't get my brace or my money back.
Repeated emails, telling me "it should ship soon" and other nonsense that are meaningless. This has been a complete waste of time, don't buy anything from betterbraces.com. Maybe they were a quality company at one point but it's complete garbage now. "

On Monday 10/1/18 checked web site and order number...Processing..Processing at warehouse..Called customer service and was told it was being shipped that evening...so ok...next day Tues checked again same message..Processing...Called again..this time told it was on back order..hmmm so when will I get it...don't have that info..ok...can I talk to manage...no manager..we will get it out to you next day air and refund your shipping costs...ok...Wednesday...same thing..call again...new response...its at warehouse waiting to be shipped..you will have it Friday...Thursday...same thing...except this time basically said it has not shipped and no status on when...

"I ordered a brace on 9/17 and paid for express shipping. Here it is on the 27th and check the tracking and still
in process. I paid for fast shipping because my wife needed the brace for her sports by the weekend...yeah, nothing.
And you cant get anybody on the phone or thru email. Funny thing is, I went right to Don Joys website and tried to
call them, same company. So DJO is Don Joy something and apparently all crap. Calling my cc company to block"
"Stay away from this organization. The overseas call center has only four people supporting it and they flat out told me that everyone is calling upset and they don't even bother responding via email. I sent an email asking about my long backordered brace but never received a response. Finally called in and it sounds like BetterBraces is imploding. The folks on the phone are completely helpless and sound equally as frustrated with BetterBraces. I'm sure they'd prefer they weren't their call center support client. Long story slightly shorter, they still don't know when my brace will ship -- would have been nice to know it was backordered when I ordered it. I never received a notification. So either BetterBraces is very poorly managed or it is a complete fraud. Either way, you should find another provider for your braces and whatnot. Even if they're 50% increased cost, it's more than worth it. Avoid these guys at all costs."
