""Bicycle Source" has a large catalog and probably keep none of it in stock. There was no indication that my item was out-of-stock until I called 2 weeks after my order, with no communication from them other than my original order confirmation. They promised the item would ship "in a few days" but after two weeks, nada. I've tried repeatedly to cancel my order but whoever it is, probably a teeneager in his parents' basement, is incommunicado. It would probably be a good idea to avoid this seller. They are a "source" of frustration."

"Worst vendor I've dealt with in a long time. Also doing business as BicycleSource.US. Product supposedly arrived from back-order over a month ago (and was billed to me) but no sign of it ever shipping. Will not respond to emails, will not answer the phone. "

"This company is so horrible that I created a watchdog website to monitor its activity on ebay -- www.bikecourcewatch.com. It took 69 days to receive my item. They are the most unprofessional group of people that I have ever dealt with as a consumer in my 28 years on this planet."

"These people are disgusting.. I have never seen such a bunch of amatuers in my life.. order something and they dont answer emails or phone. the best part is if you call at 2am there answering machine says "we are experiencing high call volume leave a message" that has got to be the funniest thing. probably run out of someones basement. check there ebay feedback the only comments they leave are negatives. if you leave a neutral you get a negative, if you leave a negative of course you can figure that one out. this company has been reported to the us postal inspector for fraud. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EBAY ID: bicycle-source.com"

"I bought from these guys because they had the cheapest price on Thule roof rack components, and offered price matching and free shipping. I used PayPal to pay for my order, spelling out which items I wanted and their item numbers.

They took their sweet time filling the order, it was more than 2 weeks since I ordered that I finally recieved some of the items, but there were some problems. First of all, two of the items did not come, the shipping invoice said they would be sent 2-6. I waited. And waited. And waited. Until finally I emailed them back asking where my stuff was. No answer. I email them again a week later, still no answer. Finally I tried to call the number listed on their web site, no longer in service. So I file a complaint with PayPal, and the stuff arrives around mid-March. The second problem was that I found out that I had ordered the wrong package of lock cores.

I admit I made a mistake with the lock cores. I paid for 4 of them for $32.97, but accidentially wrote down the part number for 2 lock cores, which cost $19.97. Needless to say, I got the 2 lock cores. I brought this to their attention, asking if I could return the 2 package for a 4 package, and they said yes but that there would be a $5 restocking fee. However, I went on a trip a few days later that I needed the roof rack for, so I went down to the local sporting goods store and bought an extra 2 pack. Then I emailed bicycle-source back and asked for a refund on the $13 difference. And I've been asking ever since. What a nightmare.

Do not order from these people. I'm sure if I had sent back the 2 package of lock cores, I would have never seen their replacements. It's been over 3 months, and I still have not seen my refund.
