"I signed up around the 15th in order to try and win some last minute giftcards and maybe an ipad for xmas. I signed up easily, bought a basic bid pack and started bidding. Here is what I won on my first round of bids:

- $50 giftcard for bestbuy
- Ipod Nano
- Canon Camera

I would guess overall I got about $400+ in items for less than $150 in bids, not bad if you ask me. I bid on the ipad but didnt stick around long enough to win (they are so hot right now!).

My suggestion is spread across your bids on several items, it worked for me. I will definitely be coming back to win more items."

"Hello - Bidfan.com is not a scam but there is some risk for sure. Truth to some of the statements above - YES - it is like playing the penny slots at the casino; I can imagine that some people get very addicted to places like this. YES - you have to pay for your bids - depending on the package size you buy you are spending $0.50 per bid - so take this into consideration. YES - there are shipping cost; but if you open the page of the item the cost is clearly stated so there should be NO SURPRISE!
For the people who claim that they took out $$$ with out their authorization - I recommend on this or any site you read all the info before entering any credit card info - if you do you will know what you are buying or not buying. You DO NOT have to provide a credit card to sign up - I DID NOT - I instead cancel that screen and just had NO bid credits. Then this gave me a chance to look and see what this was all about.
After I read and saw some of the products I did purchase 300 bids for $150.00 - I played around and yes flat out lost about $10.00 playing around and learning the site. I chalk it up to entertainment. However I did have one item that I was sincerely interested in and that was the new Kindle 3G - which I do know retails at AMAZON and EBAY for $189.00 which is stated on BIDFAN - I did some research and went to see what the last one sold for which was about $29.00. Now you ask your self HOW DO THEY MAKE THEIR MONEY - This is how a auction that sells for $29 = 2900 bids made by various bidders; if bidders are paying an average of $0.50 per bid the BIDFAN just made $29.00 from the winner and $1450 from the various bidders which = $1479 - there is their profit. Now some of you are thinking WHAT a rip off - NO not if you bid smart, research what you are bidding on and what the pattern of people bidding - you can get some good deals. I bid on 1 Kindle 3G - My winning auction price was $20.18 and I used 35 bids costing me an additional $21.00 - I also had to pay $15.99 shipping so total cost to me was $57.17 - not a bad deal for something that I would have to pay $189.00 through another source. Now again remind yourself what BIDFAN actually made - there was 2018 bids which equals $1009 now add my winning price and they earned $1066 for this item - YEAH THEY MAKE A PROFIT.
I of course worry about the people who could get addicted to this site because they get caught up in the THRILL of the 15 second clock and penny bids. You really need to think that it is NOT A PENNY BID but a $0.50 bid because that about what you are spending each time you bid.
People be smart - deals are there to be made but NEVER doubt for a minute Bidfan is not making money - they are making TONS of money off this site - be smart about how you bid and it will not be your money and you can walk away with a good deal."

"I made the mistake of checking out BIdfan, and as I hadn't read anything about a fee to join, I joined. It looked pretty good to me, but as I entered my credit card #'s I admit I wondered in the back of my mind 'why would they need my credit card info if I'm not buying anything yet. Suddenly I recieved a message thanking me for the $75.00 that they will take from my account. Without my consent this happened. I never bought any bids, I don't even know how. Never got that far. I have no savings, am down to my last few pennies, and now, if I'm not refunded, I'll go into overdraft. I never would have chosen to spend that kind of money. "

"Avoid this site. You will lose your money and not win any bids. You can ntt see all your bids.
Spent $75 for 125 "bids" - I did not hit the "bid" 125 times and in fact it did not even show my bid. So what is your option, buy more and get ripped again. You could spend allot of $$$ buying more credits, so the savings may not be there.
