"DON'T BUY FROM THIS GUY !!
I placed an order from www.bigcd.com on October 28th and made the payment on the same day via Payal. Ha had the site made up to look like it was a giant music superstore. In fact, he is just some kid living at home with his mother.
Of course, i didn't recieve anything from him, so I complained about him to Paypal. Paypal agreed that I should get a refund, but they could only get $6 back to me, because he had emptied his account, and because Paypal had several other complaints about him that had resulted in refunds.
The instant I had placed my complaint with Paypal, the owner started sending me emails, begging me to cancel my claim because he was "out of business" because of it.
I tried to make him refund my money, but he says he DOES NOT HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT !!! How can you have a giant online superstore with a stock the size of Amazon's and not have a bank account???
He told me that he is disabled and so is his mother who he lives with and takes care of (!) The back account he uses is his mother's, but he will not use his mother's account to make refunds, because the money on the account is his mother's welfare!? I really cannot see what this has to do with my transaction, so why is he telling me all this? It seems highly unprofessional.
Now he is constantly sending me emails, begging me to cancel my claim, so he can get back in business .
In his emails, he calls me several profanities because I wont cancel with claim with Paypal and let him keep my money.
*** EDIT: I have just recieved another threatening email from the owner of www.bigcd.com. He is now threatening to have me thrown off Paypal and my internet provider because I wrote this review. Yet, he has still not done anything about either refunding my money or sending the mechandise I ordered. ***
Sincerely,
Rasmus Jensen, Denmark"
"September 8th, i ordered through www.musicstack.com a cd found on www.bigcd.com for a total amount of 44.99 USD. I payed, directly, www.bigcd.com september 9th with Paypal (2D941663XN119274C). The same day I received a mail from bigcd to confirm my payment and telling me that the cd was "shipped". Great.
September 28th, I received a mail from ****@**** asking me to leave a positive feedback for the transaction. I answered that I did not receive the cd yet. And the manager sent me an other mail tellin me that title was still on order … I could see it on the report page.
And that's the problem. 20 days before the cd was shipped and now it's still on order. Where is the truth?
Now we are october 28th, and, of course, I did not receive any cd att all. For one week I'm aasking, dayly, to this manager "where is my cd?", "did you send it?", "if yes when?" "if not when will you?" and as far as today I can't have any serious and complete answer.
For 2 days now, as i'm fed up with this transaction, I sent emails asking these people to cancel my order and to refund me, with Paypal, of course.
And, of course, I received no response to my mails.
Now, today november 12, The personn who’s running BIGCD.COM, as I’m asking for a simple refund replies that I had to remove bad feedbacks that I left on different sites. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT !!!
So after some search on the internet the BigCd Manager was involved in a pyramidal swindle, you know the kind of you have to send some money to 5 or 6 people and you will receive more, etc, etc…
It’s a criminal swindle as on ly the one on the list will get the money. And guess what, the adress of one guy is exactly the bigcd PO BOX . So… RUN !!!
Now december 15th. I finally got my money back, but it was tough.
Resellerratings asked me to remove parts of my previous feedbacks. It's done.
At the end it sound just like a story of removing feedbacks.

"BUYERS BEWARE!!!
Do NOT shop here! Bigcd.com is an unreliable company at best, and a FRAUDULENT company at worst. On the website it is stated: “It should be a given that any item you see in our shop is IN STOCK or has been in stock within the past week and can easily be filled and shipped promptly. If at any time beyond 30 days an item cannot be stocked and sent we will give you a refund via paypal if you ask.” Do not let this fool you. If you wait for more than 30 days, your right to dispute a transaction with PayPal will expire. This means NO REFUND if your order is never sent, which seems to be policy with this company. On a personal website, the owner of Bigcd.com states: “I launched an online website company about 3 years ago which failed but I decided to re open it anyways because I frankly just don't care you have to go for it.” Well, that pretty much says it all... If you are reading this though and have already sustained financial damage, you could try contacting the company that is hosting the Bigcd.com website, Hostasaurus, and tell them about your experience. The e-mail address is: ****@****. I just hope it’s not too late if you’re reading this....."
"Ordered 2 CDs in February 2004, that never reached.
It's now January 2005. I had sent emails to the manager mentioning that I have no news from them. The last answer I got from the e-shop manager was that he couldn't place orders for items from that time frame (i.e., Feb 2004) and that he wasn't really in business at that time. He also said that no money was received... He had the nerve to add that if the same items are still in the catalog I could reorder them now ...
I have got credit card proof that payment was done and I have got order confirmation from the site.
I let you be the judge on this one ...
