"BigClearance.com under new ownership 2011.
The other reviews here are very old reviews of the previous owner's website and business operations.
The current web site has new owners whom have invested a lot of time and effort to provide real deals that are updated everyday on a variety of products - not just software products.
BigClearance.com has been under new ownership and has nothing to do with the previous domain name owners and the way they may have conducted business.
I think it is worth giving these new owners a chance and checking them out. Then judge the new store on your own for the high level of customer service that is now in place. Please evaluate it for yourself and not the 5-6 year old reviews."
"Watch Out got Windows XP Pro It wound up being an OEM copy and if you up date Microsoft Flags it at wants you to pay again for a genuine version. "
"Have made an order on January 2. My credit card was charged the same day.
One week after I didn't receive anything and the shipment has not been made. I have send them 4 e-mails, asking the reason they don't send anything, with no answer!
I'm outside USA, so it's difficult to me to call them, so I asked a friend to call them. It was very difficult to reach them, but he finally has someone on the phone. The guy says it will ships within 2 days.
One week later, still no shipping, They don't answer to e-mail and they are not reachable by phone (only have music and a message that tells to wait).
Their customer service is horrible and I think they are swindlers!
NEVER buy from them.."
"Ordered Microsoft Access 2003 from their website which showed Mfg. # 077-02870 (the full retail version). They shipped Access 2003 Upgrade (077-02871) along with an illegally distributed copy of Microsoft Office 97 OEM.
I informed them of the "mistake" and they offered to exchange what I received for the correct item if I paid them more money! Bait and switch?!
I told them I wanted them to ship the correct item, but they refused to honor the sale.
I have reported them to Microsoft for illegal OEM license distribution, filed a complaint with my state's Attorney General, and initiated a chargeback against them with my credit card.
Don't let them get away with their fraudulent practices!"
"I had paid for a "full" retail version of Norton AntiVirus 2005. Instead, I received an OEM version "for use only in the Middle East and Africa." When I called customer service, they mentioned they made a "mistake" and could do a product exchange. However, they could not pay for the return shipping, and when I asked if the exchange would be for a "US retail version", they did not give a straight answer. Caveat Emptor."
"I ordered Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard and was verbally quoted $208 (a price match) there cost at the time was $210. When I got the bill and I was charged $227.
My issue is that I was not informed by the sales rep that I needed to provide the sales reps name when we ordered over the net. I was informed by BigClearance that it was my responsibility to understand the verbal quote policy. I think that the sales rep should have informed me of the requirements at the time the verbal quote was made. Buyer beware.

"Although I successfully dealt with them for several prior orders, a recent order went into admin hell. They sent me duplicates of one item and none of another. I sent them repeated e-mails, phone messages, copies of invoices, and they basically sat on it. It's been over a month and a half since my order and it's still not been resolved, so I will not let the companies I consult for purchase through this company. They also operate as AtomicPark I believe."
"BigClearance.com is unscrupulous. I purchased Norton AntiVirus 2003 V.9 from them for $20. But what I received was a 90 day Beta copy. They totally ignored my email. When I called their customer service they said I should have known that! Huh? Very dishonest."
"Ordered MS VB6 PE. Vendor sent a CD with the right label but with wrong contents. Contacting the vendor was difficult. Phone no. does not lead you anywhere. Was able to reach customer service via sister company (Atomic.com)... Vendor promised to (but did not) send replacement asap while I'm awaiting UPS return shipping label for the bad CD... After more phone calls, vendor sent 2 replacements. Had to send back the other one... Price was cheap but lots of hassle trying to reach and talk to customer service... Will not buy again."
