"We purchased a camera from Big Value, Inc. Upon using the camera, it became apparent that it was dysfunctional. Unfortuantely, the dysfunction became apparent during a vacation. Upon returning home, we sent the camera back to the maker (Nikon) to get replaced or refunded and also contacted Big Value Inc. to inquire about how to get the camrea replaced. The camera was registered after the purchase. However, Big Value claimed to not be responsible for defective items and would not refund or replace the camera. On top of that, they want to resolve our case by giving us a replacement camera - one that was damaged by someone else and fixed by Nikon. A used camera that has been refurbished and for an additional $100. Would definitely stay away from this company as they only have their best interest in mind."

"Purchased Panasonic Ag AF100 through Amazon.com in early March, 2012. Product was advertised as genuine Panasonic camera. Unaware that Amazon is now just a fake front for other websites. Product arrived on time but was a grey market product with no warranty, rebate, or customer support. Was told by Panasonic to contact seller. Contacted seller, which turned out to be BIGVALUEINC.COM and was told that they were unaware that product was grey market. But they then offered to offer there own warranty if I would keep camera if I was so worried about not having a Panasonic warranty..... Oops!, that is admitting that they already know that the products they sell are grey market (illegal imports with no warranty). Bigvalue agreed to take the camera back and issue a full refund. As soon as they received the camera back, they then called and said there would be a $600 restocking fee. Yipes, they should have told me that before I sent it back. I was then given a incorrect tracking number and told they would just send the camera back to me. Customer support now hangs up automatically when I call their customer support. So in the long run, I will no longer use Amazon.com or any other New York or New Jersey stores for any purchase. You should also stay away from these stores at all costs.
BIGVaLUEINC.COM has sent active tracking number five days later. It is a shame that these companies survive by selling unauthorized imports which flood the market causing such discomfort for customers and the original manufacturers. Since these crooked companies just move on to another location or change names when busted or shutdown, it appears only the original manufacturer may have the ability to stop these sales. So far, the manufacturer response has just been to shut the customers out in the cold and not the crooked grey market sellers. So you say just buy from an authorized dealer? Doesn't work because now to compete with the grey market dealers, you are just as likely to get a grey market product from an authorized dealer as you are from the crooks. So what do we do? Demand the serial number before shipping and check with the manufacturer before completing an online order. Do this and you will be amazed how easy it is to tell a crooked store form a good store.
UPDATE: BIGVALUEINC.COM sent grey market camera again along with phony warranty. When I called customer service they claimed they never advertised that camera was supposed to be a USA model. I told them that I had printed out their ad saying that the product was "brand new USA merchandise". They then offered to take the camera back if would pay the big restocking fee. When I agreed, they then said, "it is too late for returns now" and ceased all communications."

"DISHONEST SELLER, stay away from them. They did not honored the bidding listing, removed the item after taking my payment and relisted it with an enormous increased of price, THEN IMEDIATELY REMOVED THE LISTING. They also sell with different alias on the well know bidding platform. Look for the sellers located in Somerset, NJ; same title listing and identical prices and you'll see those 3 sellers are the same. They conserve the top rated seller badge from this bidding platform by selling an item at a competitive price, then cancel your order and remove the listing before you can leave negative feedback. BEWARE! Check the bidding site message for item # 230719642522. That's the one that I paid for."

"We purchased a Canon camera from Big Value Inc being a little skeptical since it was so cheap. However after doing a little research and going through Amazon we decided to give them a chance. A few days later we received our package and it contained all that we ordered in new great condition. One of the cheaper lenses had a small black spec in the lens that we could not remove. I called BVI customer support and then said that they would send out a new one right away. When asked if i needed to ship the old one the CSR told me that I can just keep it especially since I had to go through the trouble. "Ordered from this vendor's Amazon Market Place site. Order was shipped on the date of order and the item was as advertised and received in good condition. I attempted to contact the seller after the order was placed and when going through the automated menus I kept getting disconnected. Also, I never received an answer to an email I sent. This could have been a technical problem on their end. I would probably order from this seller again, but I would try to contact their customer service first to make sure I could in case there was a problem with the order."
