"The customer service reprsentative on the phone (I cant remember her name, maybe Kara?) was polite, helpful, and knowledgeble. She helped me with a custom order, called the manufacturer on my behalf, and even had the IT dept update the website in order to facilitate the order. Terrific service."

This so-called business is a scam. As soon as they get your money, like your credit card, they immediately cash in on it, but then tell you that "your" order is pending, and it'll be pending forever. I was able to find two other websites that have the same address in Atlanta, Georgia, as this one, all three working out of the same "Suite" number, with related products to Big Screen Center. I phoned all three toll free customer service numbers and was never able to get a live person on the phone. All their so-called agents or representatives were busy. Stay away from doing business with these websites."
"Holy Cow - how can anyone order anything from Big Screen Center after reading the previous posts??? I wish I had read them earlier. I ordered a Draper screen from them in November of 2007. I talked with them because I needed it in 2 weeks. Of course - that was going to be NO problem. I noticed they charged my credit card right away - which is odd because the item had not been shipped per their website. I called them to check on the status and they could not find my order. An I.T. person did eventually find it and told me it would ship in the morning. It never showed up. I called again a week later and they again could not find my order. What a joke. I told them they had already charged my card and to cancel the order and credit the card. I was told no problem. The credit never showed - and the screen never showed. I called again and asked to speak with a manager - there was NEVER one available. I finally had my credit card company deal with it. They refunded the charge and recharged Big Screen Center back. This was about 2 months ago. Today (March 12, 2008), I checked my credit card statement and the company has charged my card AGAIN!!! What a joke. When I log into their website it STILL says the order is pending...
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BIG SCREEN CENTER UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED!!!"

"This company is a fraud as the past customers say. Same exact problem as the rest. Placed an order and was told it would be 5-7 days. It never came. Called 2 WEEKS LATER and they blamed Draper Company for back order and told me to go elsewhere or wait for another week to ship OR wait a month for a refund. I waited ANOTHER week and nothing. They never sent it or the shipping trackin email like they said. I Was fortunatly able to get through to supposely customer service and it was the same guy everytime (a VERY RUDE person who seemed to be the one man show of this supposed company). He has built a realy good website and had me fooled. I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company to try to get a refund. WATCH OUT FOR THIS CROOK! Read all the other reviews for yourself and youll see. Dont chance it. I would NEVER EVER order or recommend to order from this fraudulent company again!"

My case is almost exactly the same as the other comment in this forum. I ordered a Da-Lite’s projection screen but never received it. Money was taken right away from my account which leads me to believe that account receivable is the only part of their organization that works well!
Since then, I called them many times and every contact I had with them was initiated by me. Every time I asked for an explanation , they had an excuse; mostly they were blaming Da-Lite for the problem, saying that Da-Lite was having trouble to fulfill the demand.
On July 26th, I decided to take the matter in my own hands and I directly contacted a Da-Lite customer representative. Interestingly, this customer representative asked me who I bought the product from and warned me right away that Big Screen Center was not one of their authorized dealers anymore, even though I hadn’t mention in my email the name of the dealer… Da-Lite customer representative told me they only have a two day lead-time on the particular product that I ordered. BIG SCREEN CENTER IS JUST LYING. In a later exchange, this Da-Lite’s customer representative confirmed that Big Screen Center doesn't have an account anymore with them. They recommended that I cancel my order with Big Screen Center and use instead one of their “real” authorized dealers. I did that, and I receive a shipment confirmation only 3 business days after my order.
I have cancelled my order with Big Screen Center since but I’m still waiting for the refund. Needless to say, their accounting department is much more efficient at taking money from people than at refunding it. When you call, their technique is to transfer you to the credit department, which never picks up the phone or return your call. Don’t be fooled by their customer representatives: they sound professional but that’s part of the show they put on. Type a search in Google with the words “Big Screen Center” and you’ll find many other testimonies just like mine.In the meanwhile Big Screen Center is still selling Da-Lite's products on their webpage, or at least claim to do so.
I have triggered a dispute with them via my credit card company and will keep an update on that. I hope this testimony will keep some people away from this company.
Take my advice, stay away from Big Screen Center a.k.a. SageRyder, a.k.a. Projector Lamp Center.

"placed an order online for a DA-LITE Model B with CSR 96 x 72 inch screen on 6/7/07... said it would ship within 1 to 2 business days... credit card was billed on 6/9/07... after 7 business days product had not shipped... on 6/19 called to see what was the holdup... couldn't reach a live person... needed to use the 'live chat' option on website... 'spoke' with CSR who told me DA-LITE was "behind schedule on their orders" and the "product will ship by friday" and i would "receive a shipping confirmation via email"... as of the following tuesday, still no email... decided to 'chat' again... got another CSR that told me it would be best to "cancel my order and order from someone else"... i took him up on his advice and cancelled... i went to another online retailer (projectorzone.com) and they told me DA-LITE is never backordered and my screen should ship in 2 days, which it did... received it a total of 4 business days after i placed the order...
as of today, 7/10/07, i have 'chatted' with 2 other CSRs and left a message for the 'accounting dept' (of course no one answered the phone) and they still have not credited my card...
