"I ordered a SunRace CSR86 8-Speed Nickel Plated Cassette, 11-28T. The box has a BikeSomeWhere sticker on it that says "Sunrace Csr86 11-28" The BikeSomeWhere sticker is OVER a label that says "ITEM: CSR91.9AS0.NS1.BX, DESC: Cassette Sprocket R91, SPEC: 9S_11-28..." with the rest of the label obscured by the BikeSomeWhere sticker. When I finally had occasion to replace the cassette on my bike, I discovered that the box had actually contained a 9 speed cassette. I didn't discover this until I was road testing the bike with the wrong cassette installed. BikeSomeWhere did not respond to my emails requesting a refund of $26.05. "
"I bought a new bicycle wheel and rather got one with clear signs of use (scratches) and not even the specifications were correct. The company doesn't pay for the return slip and they want you to go through bureaucratic steps in exchange of nothing."
"Ordered a set of bicycle grips from their ebay store "open-box-sports." When they arrived the left grip was 128mm long and the right was 92mm long. Two different sizes but they said no returns even though it was their mistake. Do not trust these guys, to make matters worse the customer service was horrible."

"Wow! I should have checked here first. I placed an order with these criminals that was large enough to qualify for a discount and free shipping. No indication at any time that ANY item was out of stock. SIX of the items were, though, so what did they do. They reprocessed the order without them, meaning that it no longer qualified for either the discount or the free shipping, so they just CHARGED me for the shipping and gave me NO discount.
On the same day, that card incurred >$5,000 in FRAUDULENT charges, all originating in Florida where, guess what, BikeSomewhere just happens to be located. My Credit Card company caught the larger batch of frauds, but I am having to change to a new card everywhere that I had it stored, which is quite a few places. The smaller fraud I am still trying to resolve."
"Bought a rack from them and it did not fit. Could not return it because they will only take back items that are basically unopened and totally untouched. They say it must be in the same "in shipped" state as I received. Which means you cant try it out to ensure it fits properly. Unacceptable. Will never purchase from them again."

"Bike Somewhere has a solid inventory and I have bought from them several times over the last 5 years. I have also come to expect from them, without fail, the absolute slowest shipping of any vendor I've ever used. It is 100% accurate to say they consistently wait a full week or more before even printing a label. This is clearly not the industry standard as I have gotten packages from Asia and Europe in less time than Somewhere consistently requires. Incredulous, I contacted them about this issue a couple of years ago and got a curt, defensive response. The lady basically told me, they declare the shipping time in advance, they're busy, and that if I want it faster I can pay for "express." I quit at that point. No explanation as to what timing "express" gets you but it is very expensive. So be aware, Bike Somewhere management openly states their indifference to the customer's expectation of timely shipping. LOL I still use them occasionally if their price is decent and provided I can wait a month for something to go 500 miles. Bike Somewhere is a business with a middle-finger-to-the-customer attitude. I personally hope they get the disaster they're inviting.
