"I have no problems with the NT Carb. It’s very simple and easy to work on or change jets. Mine was too rich for the altitude I’m at, a little over 5000 feet. I ordered new jets and going to try a 60. But still with the original 70 it works ok, just a little too rich."
"Defective product, missing, parts, lousy assembly directions, and horrible customer service. They never refunded what they said they would, they never remediated the missing parts or the defective manufacturing, and now they are completely ignoring me. I've spent hundreds of dollars for a bike that is still lying in pieces on my living room floor months later. It cannot be assembled due to manufacturing defects which have been photographed and sent to them as they requested. Later I found another site of reviews for this company - all of them terrible and with similar complaints to my own. Don't trust this company for online sales! "
"Not the item that I bought, but the customer service. Ana went above and beyond to help me figure out what was wrong with my online order. She was extremely helpful and courteous. Thanks!"
"I helped my friend order his bike JUNE 29th. Bikeberry took his money and sent him an email that they couldn't verify him. IT'S BEEN 2 WEEKS AND THEY STILL HAVEN'T MADE ANY PROGRESS ON HIS ORDER. I'm in the process of reporting to the Better Business Bureau, taking someone's money and holding it without providing the goods/service is ILLEGAL. "
"Spent over 700 with 40$ worth of missing parts. I took pictures of packages as asked. But never recieved my parts and customer service made me regret ever doing business with this company. Its a combination of warehouse workers not caring about their job. And upper management doesn't care about the incompetence within their business and the inability to resolve a legitimate issue.
Bikeberry will short your parts and then if you don't like it, you have to pay for your own shipping to send back. Also pay for restocking or damage. Problem is it always gets damaged on the way in the original ship. This company will prey on the fact that you are invested at a certain point. And to return will cost more than what they shorted in the order. In other words it will cost you less to accept. For this reason I will never again use bike berry. And this really sadens me cause I actually like their products"
"Ordered 3 days ago and the package arrive today. Yaay! so fast. "
"I thought that their products won't work for me since I am very particular with quality but damn!, I am super satisfied with the engine. Thank you berry, you rock! "
"They were all so helpful and friendly with me. Definitely professional, knowledgeable and kind. Great dealing with the support team!"
"Got the Michael Blast Greaser e-bike that's way cheaper than getting it elsewhere. Delivered timely and in great condition. Been using it for a while now for my early morning rides! Great experience!"
"From the first moment I tested the bike, the front brake caliper was sticking to the brake pad, preventing the wheel from spinning normally. I was on a trip when it was delivered and I emailed them as soon as I got home to let them know about the front brake calipers.
They emailed me telling me how to realign it. I tried their methods about nine times and it was clear that the caliper was defective.
A few days after beginning to use the bike, the pedal assist broke.
They told me what to look for to fix it but nothing helped. One thing they suggested two times was to check whether the crank was tight. Both times I told them that it was already tight.
I asked for a return or refund but they did not accommodate.
The last thing they told me to try for the pedal assist was tightening a circular piece, but this piece had a wire attached to it which prevented it from being rotated. I told them that. Their response was to tell me to tighten the crank, which I already had told them two times was tight.
Around this time the bike stopped turning on at all.
I asked for an extension to the refund policy but they did not comply.
I asked them what they were going to do about the pedal assist and about the bike not turning on at all, and they have not responded in four days.
The suggestion to tighten the crank after being told twice that it was already tight is a dead end for the technical support for that issue. Another dead end is the fact that they have not responded in 4 days about the pedal assist or about the bike refusing to power on at all.
The company warranty policy states:
"All bicycles and unicycles come with a 1 year warranty on frame failure and 6 month warranty on parts against any manufacture defects."
The brake caliper prevented the wheel from spinning properly from the first day.
I informed the company of the parts defect within the warranty period and followed all instructions for trying to fix it before it was determined to be defective. They haven't sent a replacement for the front brake calipers almost five months after telling me they would order a replacement, and over seven months after being informed of an issue."
"The eBike i wanted (Qualisports Dolphin) was hard to find but Bikeberry site said "in stock" so I went for it, reasonably expecting shipment within a week or so. WEEK 1: no word so I called & was told it would be shipped "within this week"... WEEK 2: same story... WEEK 3: same. WEEK 4: FINALLY shipped (28 days after my order) & might arrive during week 5... or 6?
I could have got the same service from another seller (who was up front about delayed shipment), or even driven to a retailer who had one on the floor & brought it home the same day.
Along the way I was told everything from "hasn't arrived from the manufacturer", "the shipping container is backed up at the port of Los Angeles", "shipping is slow due to COVID" and "we don't have it yet, our warehouse is looking for it", none of which meet my understanding of the term "in stock". Scammy, to say the least, it's like one step shy of bait and switch.
Customer service was always polite but lots of "on hold" time... I spent over 45 minutes on the phone 2 different times, and once 56 minutes to get essentially nowhere with my order. About my third phone call I was offered a 5% discount for my "frustration" but $65 doesn't really cover it.
One star review for finally sending me a bike (so far I only have tracking number, but at least that's something), minus 4 stars for having to change my travel plans for which I wanted to have the bike. Ridiculous."
"My Gigabyke 500 Swift arrived broken in July 2020. Its top speed was only 8 mph and it accelerated in bursts that lasted only three seconds. I went back and forth with customer service over this for two months. They had never heard of anyone having problems like this. (And I no longer had the boxes, because there was no place to keep them in my small apartment, so there was no way for me to mail it back.)
Then, a uniquely brilliant Bikeberry employee named Jack Lin finally figured out the problem: The bike had been programmed wrong from the factory. So he helped me program it correctly and gave me some discounts on new Bikeberry merchandise, which was cool.
Other than getting three flats due to low tube/tire quality, the Gigabyke has served me well for 18 months of commuting. And so, even though I was without a bike for two months, my bad initial feeling about Gigabyke and its distributor, Bikeberry, evaporated, so I never left a review.
Unfortunately, though my battery is rated for 800 charges, after about 100, it is now holding way less of a charge than it once did, barely lasting me two hours of minimal use.
So I wrote Jack Lin asking to purchase a replacement battery. Apparently, Jack was replaced himself because he never answered, but a rep named Regina answered the bcc: i sent to the main customer service email.
I picked out what looked like a similar battery from Bikeberry's catalog and asked Regina if it would work and fit my bike. Her reply: "Yes, the ModWheel 36V 11AH Li-ion E-Bike Battery will work with the GigaByke 500W Swift Electric Bike."
So I ordered it and, as you guessed, it did not fit. Not even remotely.
Bikeberry issued me an RMA, a return shipping label and an apology, implicating "a recent change with the supplier we have not foreseen."
In other words, I'm going to have to spend $1,000-$2,000 on a new electric bike again soon, if I want one that gets me to work and back.
What Bikeberry should have done, which is what I'm sure Jack Lin would have offered me, is a battery off one of its Gigabykes that it's still selling. It should also change the Gigabyke ad copy on its website to warn potential customers that replacement batteries are not available. (If I knew that, I never would have purchased this e-bike.)
Apparently, Bikeberry is a business where the customer is only king on rare occasions.

"So on Nov 16th I ordered a bicycle thinking that would be plenty of time to receive my order, here it is Dec 10th and several emails later I’m getting the run around about my order, there return emails I’ve gotten are very generic and rude. I’ve asked for a exact ship date or a refund of funds and I’m not getting anywhere. So I wanted to safe other people from having the same issues I’m having. Do not buy from bikeberry you will regret it! They do not care about customer service or shipping your order they just take the money and you don’t get your order. BEWARE "
"Couldn't provide my review after purchase.
They sell the same mediocre parts you can find on eBay for cheaper. I would strongly advise against the friction drive kits due to their poor quality. The main mounting unit design is flawed. Unless you wanna weld, I doubt you will get this kit running right. Their support ignored me. "
"They are liars. Don’t believe the “verified review” sites. One site never posted it & another never even asked me for my review, I bought 2 bikes and that was a couple months ago. And what’s my opinion, they are only concerned with money, they will say anything to take your money. The customer service will lie over and over again. Don’t do it. This business is run by a scam artist. He just wants your money and the product Itself is mehhh. Not worth the hassle. All you will get is disappointment. "
