"Finding a bike during the pandemic was tough as we all know. I decided to give Polygon a try and ordered a T8 in March with an expected ship date of May 31st. The bike actually arrived a few weeks early. It was packaged well and in perfect condition. Assembly was easy using the included tools.

I've waited a bit to submit the review so I'd have some miles on the bike. I'm new to riding MTB but have a background in dirtbikes/motorcycles. That said, I'm still not coming close to pushing this bike to its limits. It really surprised me how well the modern MTBs ride and handle. The fox suspension is impressive and can be adjusted easily to suit your preferences. Since the T8 is tubeless ready, I easily did that before my second outing and consider it worthwhile. Overall the bike rides fantastic. I'd say the least impressive component on the bike is the brakes. Swapping to steel pads and steel compatible rotors will be my next mod. Several of my friends are experienced riders with fairly high end bikes and they have all been thoroughly impressed by the T8, especially for its price point.

As for fitment, I made the right call with a Large. I am 6'2" but do not have long arms. I'm probably right on the line for an XL but opted for a large as the XL's additional reach would have been a bit much.

Give the Polygons a try, you can't beat any of their models when you compare components and price to the big brands!"

"The warranty and following customer service is a joke. My brand new bike worth about $2000 lasted 5 miles before it became unusable. After calling customer service and being told to fix it myself, at my own cost, because I must have installed it incorrectly; i reached out again to customer service. They then told me to take it to a local bike shop to be repaired. The local shop said that, "it is unsafe, and if it was my bike, I wouldn't ride it like that." After calling back again, bikes online wants me to ship it back to them, so that they can repair the NONREPAIRABLE part. The cost of this individual component is $34. I am more than disappointed. I waited 3 and a half months to get this bike due to Covid, and now I will be waiting yet again. Spend your money elsewhere."

"My friend recommended Bikesonline to me. It seemed like a good deal. I ordered a Premier 4 for my wife. After receiving my wife's bike, I assembled it as per written and video instructions. My wife rode it for 2 minutes and when she shifted the gear the rear derailer and a derailer hanger broke and were destroyed. I took it to the bike shop and the owner inspected it and found that the derailer wasn't set correctly. I contacted bikesonline, they emailed me with a few questions. I haven't heard back from them for 5 days. The bike seems like a good bike, but so far this experience has not been."
