"The bike is awesome- my only complaint is that when it arrived the cables seem to have been run through not ideally. The front break line was run in a way that you couldn’t put the handle bar on without taking off the trigger or break caliper. Also the rear break is run internally on the right side.because of that, the right break line got got pinched really bad- so I had to replace it. When doing that one of the grommets got messed up… the bike did come with extra grommets- but only the one with 1 hole- and I messed up a two hole grommet. It would have been nice if rather than 2, 1 hole grommets it came with 1 of each. "

"I have waited a year to make my review and I strongly recommend this bike!
Bought bike with an expected wait and they filled the order ahead of time. I had been riding a nice old GT hardtail as a cross street and gentle off road but this is my first real mountain biking for this 50+ rider. I have little real experience to analyze specs and build changes, just that it feels and works great! Got nervous during build and paid my local shop to do it. They said it was all easy and nothing but compliments on packing, readiness and ultimately on the bike itself despite their comparison bikes starting 1K+++more.
I am about 5'9" and went with a medium size 29" wheel. After reading so many reviews I felt this was the bike but that I would need to be changing certain parts right away; NOT SO. Drop seat always works perfect. Love the easy control on suspension for going up vs. down, never bottom out; my air is minimum but they are tested. Peddles are fine. The tires have held great under all condition. The feel and fit has been perfect for control, safety, responsive shifting and braking under demand. A lot of my local east coast trails are very rocky and technical so shifting going up and control weaving my way and flying down is key. I think I will cut handle bars down a little which might give more agility and help fitting through tight spots in the woods. I dry wipe my bike down clean after ride, oil chain and clean it and drivetrain often and have had no problems so far. Made it up to Kingdom Trails Vermont in late summer after a few months of ridding and I felt pro in the flow, Haha!
I was hoping I wasn’t buying too much bike. So happy I didn’t buy anything less. Just getting my spring rides going now and feeling the joy all over again. I can’t believe the price has only gone up a 100 bucks especially during these times! "

NOT with this bike. Was able to put bike together without using instructions. All parts were included. BEST part was that the bike was ready to ride after the easy assembly. I had to view several YouTube videos to get the bike assembled, and then had to take it to a bike shop to get it working properly. Also, read the specifications carefully. The general description is not clear that pedals are included with the bike. You do not need to purchase additional pedals. "

"I ordered from them (full setup from bike to helmet and lights). I was so very excited, and while I was disappointed that it took 5-7 business days just to ship the order out, I figured that wasn't so bad. So I was on biz day 6, and they hadn't sent me a tracking number. I call them, and my expectation is that by giving them the little nudge "hey, y'all know according to your policy, you gotta ship this tomorrow right?" They told me that it is ready, all boxed up...just waiting on FedEx. It was on biz day 11 that I decided to reach back out (this was after I submitted a ticket which went unanswered on day 9). The guy who answered was nice enough, but he was also just completely disinterested in doing anything to actually resolve the situation. Instead of taking steps to fix things, he says, "I mean, I can cancel your order." Yeah, bud, that's exactly what I did. It just absolutely baffles me that a company which calls itself the best online bike retailer could fumble the ball after I've already dropped a decent chunk of cash by not having their shipping logistics figured out and being completely uninterested in doing something about it."
