"All around Perfect! Check out process was quick & easy, their cost was $40 below anyone else, they were one of very few stores who even had the item in stock, the product shipped exactly when they said, arrived quickly & in perfect condition! Couldn't be happier!!"

"Ordered a crossbow and had to change the order. Never able to reach them by phone. Customer service did respond to email but. I ended up having to cancel the order and due to the fact that I could not reach them by phone they shipped before I could cancel. If I could have reached them in time I could have avoided this.
Now they are charging me a 10% stocking fee for something that is not even been opened. Restocking fees are just a way to deter returns. I understand if it has been opened or used but still unopened?
If you don't mind email only communications or a reastocking fee then by all means do business with them. Otherwise find a vendor you can call and won't charge you for a return. There are many out there.

"This shop has it all. Pete (Mr. Bear)knows it all. Seriously he knows paintball guns to river rafting to firearms and knows it well. If you are a sportsman and need some advice on just about anything Pete is your man and Black Bear Sports is the place.

"Ordered on Feb 22 item was "in stock" email confirmed it was "in stock" on the 23rd. Two weeks later nothing. I emailed the company and was told it was back ordered and not given a time as to how long it would take to get in. I emailed again asking how long it would take and was told it would take 2-3 weeks for the distrubutor to get it. I found thier customer service lacking. I ordered an item that was "in stock" and apparently it was not. Instead of a polite email saying it was backordered I had to find out what was going on, so much for any semblance of customer service... when I had to contact them about it was told basically cancel the order it or suck it up and wait. Other places at least consider speeding up delivery for waiting almost a month. "

"My order was promised to be shipped in 24 hours. I called before placing the order and the Customer Service rep verified the same. I specified on the notes section of the order that there were to be NO backorders even though it showed everything to be in stock.

Since I had never ordered from Black Bear Sporting Goods before I kept screen shots of the items I ordered showing "shipped within 24 hours" as verified by the CS rep I talked to on the phone.

Now, three days later (not counting the weekend in between) my order still hasn't been shipped. When I inquired why my order hadn't been shipped I was told one of the items wouldn't be available for several days even though it was two days past the promised shipping date. They (now) wouldn't give me a firm ship date even though the order totaled almost $400.00.

I told them to cancel the one item that was backordered and holding up the order (even though I had specified no backorders) and ship the order immediately without that backordered item as I needed it by the upcoming weekend, which would have worked if they had lived up to the first promised ship date.

I specifically told them when I placed the order that I needed the order by the weekend and was told the CS stated it would be shipped on Monday.. which gave all week for delivery.

Rather than trying to work things out I got an email back stating my whole order had been cancelled. Now I have to order from someone else and the order will not make it in time for my trip.
