"Bought a $300 knife from them and received it defective. They offered to exchange for me. ON MY DIME. I had to pay shipping and insurance to send back for the exchange. With no communication after sending the original back to them they proceeded to send me back a clearly opened and returned knife which was defective also. Their only remedy was to send it back for a refund but I’d have to pay their 15% restocking fee. Even though they sent me two defective knives… BladeOps is untrustworthy, poor communicating and practicing deceptive business tactics. Seriously bad customer service. Spend your money elsewhere as most other knife providers pay for everything (shipping etc.) on defective knives. And don’t charge you restocking fees on returns of defective items. This company is a joke and an utter disappointment. I will never spend my hard earned money with them again and you shouldn’t to begin with."
"I purchased a $272 Benchmade knife from them. When it arrived, the factory seal was open on the box. It was obvious it had been used and returned. The axis lock would stick and you could barely get to release with both hands. They tried to talk me into taking the knife apart and filing down a piece. Which would void any of the two year warranty from Benchmade. I tell the man it is for a collection, not use. He tells me no problem and puts me on hold. Some lady gets on and talks down to me. Tells me there is a 15% restock fee, but if I pay the shipping on the return she would waive it. That was a lie, their policy online says no fee for exchanges. Only on refunds. So they sent me a used knife with issues. Tried to make me work on it, then tried to make me feel bad I wanted it exchanged. So I ended up paying the shipping out of my pocket for their mistake. They are not an honorable company and their customer service is the worst. Buyers beware. That was my first and last purchase with bladeops. "

I needed a 10 cent spring for a defective knife and they through various emails made me feel like I
was running around in circles. I never did get my spring. Stay away from Bladeops. There are too many
other sites to deal with. Bladeops is horrible."
"I had an order of $272 and they shipped the order out with usps. USPS Lost my order and I got in contact with Blade Ops and to even get in contact with them about a refund it took almost 3 days. Then I was told I would have to wait 15 days to file a refund claim. Wich I never had to wait that long for a refund ever. Then on the 15-16 day I got in contact with them and once again they didn't respond to my messages so I had to call. I was told once again I had to wait. On June 9th I received an email saying my refund was accepted. Well June 17 I wrote to them that I still haven't received the refund and I was told that the person who does the refund wasn't in the office he would be back in an hour or so. Then In an hour or so I was told there was a glitch in the system with my refund. How is there a glitch on my refund when I got an email June 9th about my refund getting accepted and 8 days pass and no one updated me on my refund or no one saw the "glitch". This company is such a joke the people there don't give a damn about you or your money. As long and they keep making their money they don't care about their costumers. They reply fast for anything else but once you mention "refund" in a message or email they take about 3 days to reply. It's been about a month now back and forth with them to get my refund for my order. "

"Ordered Hogue 34036 today only to discover it has been used and very used at that. The scales on back are completely smooth having been worn for a long time and hogue name worn away from clip and several deep grooves in G10. I’d like to think this was a inadvertent error but this is obvious Ling term wear damage. Tried calling support number and the mailbox is not working. We will see if they respond to email."

"I made 2 orders (jumped the gun before looking over all the sale items) and they were quickly delivered. The only one small issue I had was that one knife was a OTF single action and it had deployed during transport so it was partially sticking out the side of the box but was in a bubble wrap envelope also so it didn’t go through it and as soon as I felt it poke me I realized what had happened pulled it out of the box and and reset it. But that just goes to show how important a lock on an OTF is and this cheap 19.95 does not have a safety so it will probably just be a conversation piece and never go into my pocket. I did test it agains several different materials and it really doesn’t start out of the handle with much push so I don’t think it would go very far if this did happen in a pocket. But I don’t want to be the one to find out."
