"Ordered 5 solar shades. Website says: “One 30* operating pole is sent with every cordless shades order to help reach shades in taller windows”. Expected 5 operating poles since windows are tall, located in different rooms, and my wife is petite. I received one pole for all 5 shades. They want to charge me $25 to send me rods the website says come with the shades. They say the website says they will send only one pole per order. I disagree. And no where does it give you the option to order more for each window. So instead of taking care of a customer who just spent $2200 and then correcting their website, they told me they wouldn’t send them unless I paid extra. I told them I won’t be a returning customer and I would let everyone know why.

"Love the blinds....easy install and and they look great! However my wife is not a tall person and has to get the step ladder to open and close the blinds. The wand that came with them is half the height of the blinds and the reach to the wand is even a small stretch for me 6'1". We are satisfied with the product and just disappointed with this one small portion."
"We received plantation shutters that if installed would cut off access to opening our windows as designed. Cost of this product was over $3,200. I was told by Madi at Blindster that they redesigned their order form that would have previously alerted me to this flaw and replaced it with fine print. I was told they wanted to make it easier for people who are willing to sacrifice the function of their windows to order. Our windows were standard builder grade double hung tilt-out windows, nothing odd., it's the same window used in most builder grade homes. Madi offered $500 Max refund. Despite knowing that customers could easily miss their fine print by altering their order form they failed again by not asking the question in their "pre-production" phone call. They knew there was "weak link" in their system yet neglected to cover it with a simple question. BUYER BEWARE!!!"
"I ordered Premium motorized blinds for three bedrooms. They arrived and installation required a phone call to customer service to obtain details around how to program the motorized shaded. A video was emailed, and I was quickly able to program all the shades. One month later, I ordered five more motorized shades that I believed to be the same, they were not. I ordered and received Deluxe motorized shades which were not the same quality as the Premium shades. I contacted customer service and was told they had discontinued the Premium shades and that they have a 60-day return policy up to $500. I would return the shades if I could replace them with the Premium shade, however, they no longer make that shade."

As advertised right on the main page, they were offering "LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY" which says "The manufacturer warrants that it's products will be free from manufacturing defects for the reasonable lifetime of the project for which it was originally purchased. ".
On 05/16/2021 one of the strings for one of the shades snapped and now the shade is unusable. After multiple attempts to contact Blindster via email, I eventually received a ticket number but no further updates. I called the support number and asked for a resolution. I was told that the shade I have is discontinued and the "lifetime limited warranty" covers mechanical defects for only 1 year (not for the "reasonable lifetime of the project"). This is a misleading statement and false advertising."

"Terrible product, terrible service! The rollers do not work and cuts were short, hem bar was also cut short and visible thru the cheap fabric. I asked for a return authorization and refund. They have a 60 day guarantee policy but there is a 10 day delay between emails. Took two weeks and 3 emails to get the first response, the delays will eat 60 days up pretty quick. Then I was told they would only refund $500 of the $536+ I spent. The shipment was grossly late and I forgave this due to the COVID delays. Tired of dealing with the poor customer service so I have reversed charges on my credit card and hope my bank will step up to correct this horrible transaction. I have purchased products from several other 3rd party companies with no issues. Will never purchase here again! I am a retailer and in closing "buyer beware".
