WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN!! I made an online purchase for which bloomingdales delivered part of the order which went missing and i immediately contact bloomingdales regarding this and instead of resolving the issue, they blocked me. As in my money is gone and i am not sure about the other part of the order whether they deliver it or not. worst customer service i have seen. I don't understand how i am blocked they bloomingdales made a mistake. They never contacted even UPS regarding the package. I want my money back"
"Ordered luxury belt from BALLY as a birthday gift for my close friend. Belt arrived and was used 3 times and the holes started to tear. Asked for a solution and was offered to return - print all the labels and ship it back. No other solutions such as replacement with other brand/style was offered. " Ordered two dresses online and I was on the phone for exactly one hour, had to go through all kinds of interview, credit card check and answer all the questions you can imagine, they had to double and triple check my Bloomingsdale card, I went from the Philippines to the US, being put on hold back and forth. Have never experience such a frustration for two cheap dresses costing less than $150 each. I think Its time to cancel the card. "
"Placed an order on Dec. 6th. On 8th noted it has not shipped even though it was supposed to be in stock.
Called customer service and was assured that it shipped and "UPS did not update their info".
On 10th called again and was assured it would arrive on 11th.
On 12th called again (the 3rd time)- was told they have to wait 10 days before reshipping the order."
"Ordered a product with two-day shipping, called customer service agent who was clearly not a native English speaker. He kept oddly saying "perfect" in response to the problems I was reporting, and refused to provide any sort of compensation for a product delivered five days after I ordered it with a two-day shipping promise. Apparently Bloomingdale's is owned by Macy's, which explains why the service is terrible."

"They lost my return and are now charging me the price of the HORRIBLY packaged Rebecca Minkoff bag I ordered. HORRIBLE! They didn't package my bag correctly, it was thrown in a large box then the chain was loosely tossed around. There was a strange pill pack in the side pouch so it was obviously used and returned. The tag was melted and stuck to the inside lining and was a sticky and gross. HORRIBLE QUALITY for a company I thought was going to be good. THEN, they issued a refund a few days after I send the bag to UPS (which I did the same day they sent me the return label through email because I wanted to get RID of that ridiculous bag ASAP!) and then I get an email a couple weeks later saying "don't forget to send us your item or we'll have to charge your card..." I'm like WHAT?!?!?! Of course...I didn't save the receipt or tracking number because I was rushing at the UPS store.. and of course the customer service lady who was obviously a foreigner and could've cared less about the customer gave two thoughts about me. So.... I'm waiting on my local UPS store to work their magic and see if they can find it for me since I remember the date/time when I dropped it off. SCREW BLOOMINGDALES. IT'S NORDSTROM ALL THE WAAAAY! "
"I like shopping here, I actually converted from nordstrom after their huge markups and poor quality merchandise left me wanting more. But now i cannot place an order on bloomingdales after shelling out $1200 a week prior. I placed my order and it was cancelled by them. I have money, Plus I cannot redeem or apply my $50 credit to any order or write any reviews. I was able to write a few reviews on an mcm tote and a few other items. Now i cannot order a thing, and there are about $2000. worth of items I want. Im glad I live in las vegas, its back to the forum shops for me or the fashion show mall. I do want to at least get my $50 credit though I think thats only fair, if they are waiting for it to expire by making it impossible to redeem it i will seriously drive to the Beverly center and redeem it in person. This is a major headache Im begging to spend money there and its become impossible."
"Ultimately the store lost the sale of five $50 gift cards and one $99 scarf because of the ridiculous customer service routine I went through. I wanted to purchase everything through the Bloomingdale's website but I wasn't sure about shipping charges for the gift cards, so I called customer service. The rep, whose English was so poor that I wasn't sure if I had actually reached Bloomingdale's, said it would be $2 to ship each gift card. I went online to finish the order but the shipping charges were showing up as $5 for each gift card, not $2. It seemed absurd to pay $25 to ship 5 small cards in an envelope to the same address (not to mention $8.95 to ship the scarf), so while I had my cart open I used chat to contact customer service. Here is the exact written answer I got:
"Did it says that estimated? You will be charge of $5 in each gift card."
I decided to call Bloomie's customer service one more time. And one more time I reached a rep who could barely speak English. And who started the conversation by thanking me for shopping at Macy's. I am not kidding. This one said he would place the order for me and charge a total of only $5 to ship all 5 cards. There was no way I was going to give this character my credit card number, so I just gave up on the entire order. This episode soured me on Bloomingdale's - probably the worst I have ever experienced with any retail outlet in my entire life. I never got the scarf and found a way to purchase five Saks 5th Avenue gift cards with NO shipping fees at all."
"They allow your to order, take your money and then cancel your order. It's not worth ordering with them, just go to a store with better customer service (or any customer service at all)."
"I ordered a shoes on Bloomingdales on9/15/2016 with 25%sale but I received a wrong item which is same side shoes(two right side) so I want to do exchange, but they said they will restock it 11/7 so they refund me 15%discount. And then they keep changing restock date and they told me it's better to return my item and purchase a new. Alraight. I did that but they keep cancel my order for 5 times and finally they told me the reason which is they don't allow such low price, and they said they have never put sale on these shoes. So I showed them my confirmation email, they finally said ok I can give you 25% discount as before, but I will never give you 15% discount for this order. Excuse me? Are you kidding? I'm the one who receive the wrong shoes, you are the one who made mistake, why do I have to pay more and I already wait restock for almost two months. And their senior is really really bad attitude, they just keep saying they never have sale on these shoes and then put me on hold. So disappointed and super bad experience. "
"I have actually had many good experiences purchasing from Bloomingdales in the past. My current gripe is with the sudden essentially overnight change of their return policy. I do believe it is fair for Bloomingdale's to change their policy with notice given on purchases going forward. HOWEVER, according to Bloomingdale's, their (current) new return policy is now the policy that will be applied to all purchases made at Bloomingdale's ever, even though this new policy just went into effect. This is incredibly deceptive, and maybe even illegal!
** Update** I also wanted to add that i've noticed when I write 5 star product reviews they seem to get posted right away. However, when I write a critical 1 or 2 start review its seems to take FOREVER for them to post it, if they even post it at all! "
"I ordered three items from Bloomingdales more than two months ago. When the goods arrived, one item was not the item I ordered. Instead of a nightgown, I received a baby's onesie (grow suit). The goods were shipped by Borderfree. I contacted Bloomingdales as soon as the order arrived, and asked how I ship back the incorrect item. They said they'd arrange it with Borderfree, I just had to wait and hear from them. Well, several follow ups later and I'm still waiting, and still looking at a baby's onsie. Really NOT happy. Would not recommend either the store or the shipping company, and certainly won't purchase from Bloomingdales or use Borderfree in the future."
"NEVER buy anything from Bloomingdale's Maximilian Furs store! I bought a thousand dollar shearling coat from them two years ago and the actual leather is falling apart with holes in it! Not the seams! They are blaming my mother instead of admitting they sold me a piece of absolutely shoddy crap for a coat!"
