"Horrible company, went out of business apparently while leaving many customers hanging after they sent payments but obtained no product. I myself purchased a wii bundle package on February 15th 2008. The first bad sign from the company was instantly when they notified me that because of 'technical difficulties' they were unable to give me the warranty they were -required- to give me with my product. Of course as a solution they offered me a warranty from themselves at 50% off which I refused. Shortly after this incident after trying to email them and contact them via phone, I realized what had happened. They went out of business. No reason, no explanation, just up and gone. I still am not sure what happened to the owned, but I never was refunded and because it was through paypal, I couldn't have my credit card company go after the payment. Paypal decided in my favor when I opened a dispute with them, but of course he had no funds any longer in his account and I was out of luck. Bad business ethics during its finest hour."
"On February 22 2008 I placed an order for a Play Station 3, 80GB refurbished system. BlueBear Toys charged my credit card that day and sent me an email giving me my order number. When I checked the status of my order on line they listed several problems placing the order and billing my credit card, none of which were valid.
I attempted to call them many times, always got the message; we are Now CLOSED call back during normal business hours. Received this message no matter if it was during their normal business hours or not.
I have sent several emails to them requesting a tracking number as I paid extra to have it shipped 3 day FEDEX, no reply to any of the emails, and still no tracking information posted to my order status.
I am currently working with my credit card company in an attempt to get my money back.
All beware of this Vendor as they must be going out of business.

"First, I ordered because Blue Bear Toys had the cheapest price for the item I was looking for. They advertised a special or free FedEx Ground shipping. The invoice I was emailed did only had a charge for the item I purchased. There were no other charges. It also indicated that shipping was going to cost $0.00. After I checked my credit card, the charged me an additional $5.99. I looked at my invoice online and they charged me $5.99 for handling and insurance EVEN THOUGH I never agreed to this additional charge.
I waited for two weeks while my order was in the "Will Ship" status. I tried calling them on a Friday. The phone system answered, had me chose a department, rang three times and the system hung up on me. I then emailed them and I didn't get any response back. I called them back on Tuesday and the recording said they were closed, at 10am Eastern! I called back the next day and it said the same thing. I had to initiate a charge back with my credit card. I received my full refund yesterday.
With the other bad review, I would only order from this company over the phone, if you can get them to pick up. Since I doubt they will, DON'T GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS!"
"Disreputable, dishonest. Ordered an item 'in stock, same day shipping'. Credit card charged that day. Four days later, they tell me they are still researching 'to protect me from fraud' (note, the charge cleared 4 days earlier). Phone rep committed to ship that day. One week later, Blue Bear cancelled the order. During this entire period, the item I ordered was listed as 'in stock, same day shipping' on their website, and the price had even gone down! I have never experienced such astonishing dishonest behavior from another online seller."

"The web site claimed in large letters that most items shipped within 24 hours; mine however did not shipped until 12/26 (8 days later). Granted this was during the Christmas season but a simple email telling me that would have helped, or at least respond to the email that I sent requesting information which was never responded to. However, they managed to send three emails telling I could upgrade to overnight shipping to get the item before Christmas.
On the plus side, the price was the cheapest that I could find; the item did ship and arrived in good shape and was new, in the original packing. They did respond to my phone call to customer support after Christmas (a before Christmas phone call had gone unanswered). The part came FEDEX ground in the time frame that was quoted.
Bottom line, they need to communicate better."
