"Got a "CCTV camera high amps power adapter 12v 5000mA" from these folks via the newegg.com marketplace. Its output was intermittent, with its LED indicator flickering on and off. Paid shipping to send it back, received another one that was DOA -- LED indicator wouldn't light up, no power coming out (measured with a voltmeter). To get a refund of the item price ($25) I had to pay shipping again: $5.49+$6.20+$6.51=$18.20 in shipping cost for nothing (but aggravation). The worst part was that on the phone and in email they were not at all apologetic; they insisted that everything was my fault. If they would have been professional in their customer service and offered to at least pay for one of the shipping fees I would have been OK with them. These things happen. On the phone they said the original unit was "burnt out" and tried to get me to say I had damaged it (I had not), and eventually accused me of "making false statements." Below is the email they sent me after I returned the second unit -- you be the judge; does this sound like good service? I ended up getting a similar power adapter on Amazon for half the price and no problems. I definitely recommend that others avoid this vendor.

The second unit was NOT a defective unit (nor was the 1st unit), both the 1st and second units were tested out before sending out to you. It seems like your using it for other purposes, which makes it burn out the power adapter. There is no need for you to make false assumptions about us sending you defective units. You don't need to blame us, for your wrong usage of the power adapter. And regarding the return policy, everything is stated on our seller profile. This is definitely something that you should've read before making your purchase."
