"I have used Bleachsafe towels for about 15 years. Give or take. I don't remember the exact year we first purchased. The last two orders have not been the same quality. They seem to be unraveling and fuzzing after one wash. Upon opening, they felt much thinner than towels in the past. I thought washing them would fluff them up. Not so. My coworkers are having the same experience.

I called to let the company know. Not to return! Not to argue. Not to be combative. Combative and defensive is what I got straight out of the gate! I simply wished to report, and ask if they had made any manufacturing changes. A very rude man wanted to hear nothing of my experience and went in and on telling me there is no way, they have never changed anything. Ever. Then details about the weight of individual towels, and then how they weigh them out in bulk. Always the same. Never any discrepancy. He might as well have called me crazy outright. Went so far also say "no offense" before he offended me a third time. I continued to tell him I don't know or care about the weight, it's the feel and performance. He told me three times all he can do is send me more towels, but that they would be the same. Each time I explained I don't need more. Eight dozen is more than I need.

I had to talk over him to get him to stop. It was the only way for him to hear that I was not returning, nor asking for more towels. Finally, he gets it! He also said they have had no other reports. Not a single one. In fact, he went on and on about how they have clients who order in bulk and they would have told them if there was a discrepancy.

I see here I am NOT the only one reporting this experience. I am looking for a new company to do business with. Mostly because of the way I was treated. Being from NY is no excuse for rude behavior. "

"I love Bleachsafe towels! I am a hairstylist and these are the only towels that hold up to being washed and dried often, they won't ravel or fray on the edges, and do not stain easily, or fade. These are the only towels that perform like that! Great quality. I usually order the black ones, which are great, this time I ordered the plum colored towels and the color actually looks more maroon or garnet to me. Not bad, it's just more red than purple. Trust me you won't be happy if you buy bargain towels from another retailer online or in a store. If its not Bleachsafe it's not good quality. "

"I searched the web for "Breast Cancer" towels. I found BleachSafe to have the towels and I trusted the reviews of the towels. I placed my order only to learn they no longer have the pink Breast Cancer Towels. I asked when they would be in stock (willing to wait, in no rush) and they stated they would not carry them any more. So disappointed. I have not yet received my order (my fault NOT BleachSafe). "I would rate the BleachSafe experience 5 stars. The hair color and bleach does not affect the towels at all. I ordered the first time in Feb 2012 and this is my second time reordering. The only thing that drives me nuts are the edges frayed within a couple months of using the neckstrips. We had to keep trimming them. Not a huge deal but it would be nice if they were like the edges of the regular towels. Overall satisfied."

"I chose to use BleachSafe towels because I heard they were the best. The quality is great and the order I placed was a test order to see if I would like to purchase more in the future. The company I work with is located in New Jersey and we are able to accomplish next day shipping to any of the tri-state area customers for a low shipment cost. I was very shocked to see that not only was the shipping cost $12.93 for two dozen towels but also it took the order several days to arrive. BleachSafe is located in NY, so there is no reason it should have taken so long for the towels to arrive - especially considering the shipment cost. We placed the order on a Thursday and didn't receive the towels until the following Tuesday afternoon. Quality, as I mentioned is great but I'm not impressed with the quality and promptness of the service at all. "
