The delivered was incomplete chest set pc missing , I called the Paramus Store and they did not care or promise a quick turnaround or care about my concern
We have to wait another 6 weeks

"This Bob's and their customer service lied to me about items in stock simply to get my money and when delivery day came the items were not here instead I learned that the items were on backorder for at least two months so my family has nothing to sleep on as we were depending on the delivery to give us the items for our new house don't buy from Bob's is all I can say if you do then you're a fool spending your money"
"Worst quality of furniture you could ever see and worst and dishonest technicians you would deal with. And most important is the worst customer care you could ever imagine. I bought 3 bed rooms, 2 living rooms and a dining room. I received my furniture on three trips and each trip I was missing one piece of the set and there was no communication from them about that until the delivery comes.The headboard of king bedroom came cracked, 2 chairs and one leg of the dining room came also cracked. After struggling with customer care agents and supervisors I could finally replace them. But one of the living rooms had issue with the seat cushion. After sending over 6 times photos to customer care emails, each time they say nothing received. Finally they sent a dishonest technician who came and told me yes I have a problem with stuffing the seats of my coach and love seat. But guess what! He go back and changed his report that this is normal. I contacted again and again customer care told me they can refund me the money because they don’t have the same model number bought. So they wasted over 4 months of bla bla bla and then they expect me to go and buy again from Bob’s furniture. Never in my life I buy anything even for free from that stores again or recommend them to any one. Shame on you Bob’s furniture "
"My wife and I purchased a bedroom set which included a king bed and headboard, dresser and two nightstands. We also ordered a rocking recliner at the same time. We also paid for delivery and setup as well as the goof coverage.
The bed set was delivered within the week, which was nice. But the delivery crew made a huge mess of our room and the front porch. There were cardboard and styrofoam to clean all over.
Before the crew left I checked the furniture and didn’t see any obvious problems so I signed the tablet and they went.
A few minutes later as I was making the bed, I noticed a divot in the wood of the headboard. I made a mental note about it and then finished making the bed. Keep in mind this bed-set was the only real wood furniture that Bob’s sold. It is 100% mahogany.
I then moved on to the dresser to fill the drawers. When I went to open one of the drawers a piece of the glide rail dropped out and fell to the floor.
That was three strikes, so I immediately called customer service. A woman picked up who likely had a cold. She coughed in my ear a few times before I asked to speak to someone else. I feel sorry she had a cold, but a customer service person should always consider the person on the other end of the phone. When I asked to be transferred, she said: “hang up and call back!”
So I did, reluctantly.
The next person I spoke with apologized for the frustrations. And set up to have a “technician” come out to see the headboard and dresser. He came a few days later and wanted to use a wood filler pen on the headboard. A brand new headboard that should have no divots in wood. I declined the filler pen and asked for a headboard replacement since it’s brand new and came with the divot. He called his manager, and it was approved.
He moved on to the dresser to say he had to order a new glide rail. Something I already knew and told customer service. So they could have saved a trip there too.
The new headboard came a few days later, and the wood is ok. But part of the headboard, where your head would be, is loose on one side. It’s not bothering us too much, so we are just dealing with it... for now. We have the goof protection so we will bring it up with Bob’s customer service.
Finally, the chair arrived. It came in 2 pieces and is comfortable. After one day of rocking our child, its springs make a creaking pop noise when you rock up and down. It’s very noticeable when the room is quiet, but not when the TV is on.
It’s almost two months later from delivery at the time I’m writing this. We are still waiting in the glide rail to arrive so it can be installed and the dresser can be used.
I’m about to follow up with them to get a status and report the new headboard issue and the chair issue and to find out about the compensation I was told I’d be getting due to all these troubles.
One thing for sure is I’ll never buy from Bob’s again."

"The furniture was horrible quality and the customer service was even worse. I purchased a protection plan which was not honored because I couldn't identify why the furniture didn't wear well. I was told that I could get a prorated refund but was never refunded despite multiple requests. I was extremely unhappy with my experience and would not recommend this store and its products."

Back in December 2015 I purchased a king size storage bed at the Wilmington, DE location. Not even a month later the bed broke. The frame that the wooden slates were on cracked and the boards were sloping down causing the mattress to sink; unable to sleep on the bed. When they came out they told us that it was put together incorrectly, poorly and it looked rushed. In March the bed broke AGAIN!! The same piece on the opposite side of the bed this time! They came out and the person told me "The adhesive is not compatible with the wood"....then why are you using it?!? A week later the bed broke for the THIRD time!! SAME PIECE IN THE SAME SPOT!!! Mind you, I'm still continuing to make payments on a BROKEN bed!!
I called customer service and was very upset and felt like this has been a big inconvenience to me in the last 3 months! I went to the store the next day and the manager came out and was trying to sell me another storage bed, EVEN THE SAME ONE THAT KEPT BREAKING!! I had to basically use the credit from the original bed that I no longer wanted because they didnt want to give me my money back! I ended up having to get a non-storage bed and get a bed that I forced myself to like because the beds were not what I wanted! I also went over to the showroom floor bed of the one I originally had and to my surprise when I lifted the mattress THAT BED WAS BROKE TOO!!! The manager told me that I could get a metal frame placed into the BED FRAME of the bed I picked out so I would feel comfortable not having the wooden slates going across the bed.....
They literally just came out today 3/29/16 while I'm at work and they tell my boyfriend that the metal frame does not fit! I had to now sacrifice the rails and the foot board that I was originally told, BY THE STORE MANAGER, were going to be fine with the metal frame I purchased!! WRONG!!!!! I FEEL CHEATED AND I FEEL LIED TO! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT BOBS EVER AGAIN!! AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!
AND TO BE CLEAR, I STILL HAVE TO MAKE PAYMENTS....NO COMPENSATION FOR THE TIME I HAD TO SACRIFICE FOR ALL THE TIMES THEY CAME OUT ON MY DAYS OFF! OR FOR ME HAVING TO SPEND ALMOST 2 HOURS IN THE STORE TO FIND A BED THAT I HAD TO SETTLE FOR! VERY VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!"
"I bought two bedroom sets and a sectional sofa at My Bob's. After a year, the drawer broke on my dresser and my daughters platform bed cracked. I called to order a part for the dresser as they would not repair the furniture. I ordered the part on 6/23, they charged me for it the next day. It is August 19th and I still don't have it. When I called they told me I would have it in October!! Terrible customer service, stay away from this outfit. They sell cheap crap and then won't fix it. I marked them as high priced as they are selling garbage."
"I purchased a dining set online, received confirmation email. I have verified the shipping address was correct and the billing address was correct. I received a call from Bob's to schedule a delivery date and time which was fine. I received a call that they were running early and asked if i would be able to take the delivery early. I said yes. Was waiting and received another call that they were outside. I look and no one is there. They actually went to my billing address and said Oh well there is nothing we can do. I sent them the confirmation sent to ME BY THEM showing the correct information (shipping was 10 mins away) They told me I had to go to the store and correct the issue. I had no time to do that and took a day off work for this. I got absolutely nowhere after speaking to 1 manager through there delivery service that said THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO I WILL TRANSFER YOU TO THE STORE. The store manager said it was ridiculous and would make sure that I received my delivery and would call me back.... Never received a call, so I call her (Maureen for the woodbridge store) She said I am working on it and will call you back..... Still nothing so I call again to find out that Maureen actually left and resolved nothing for me. I spoke to someone else regarding delivery and they stated " the drivers have been released for the day" So no delivery. I asked to then be scheduled for this Sat. as it was not my error. They told me they would send in a request but can't guarantee anything, and I would receive a call with in the hour to confirm my delivery. Again till this time (the next day) Still no phone call!!!!!!! Haven't even been offered a discount for the inconvenience and there mess up. I will never order from here again. Buyer BEWARE. Prepare yourself for a hassle and headache."
"I bought a microfiber sofa from Bob's discount furniture store in Totowa, NJ a year and half ago. It was white in color and cost me $1100 for a sofa, love seat, 1 table and 2 side tables. Now the sofa looks 15 years old, the color has faded to cream/beige and the tight cushions are now so saggy and looks ugly. I guess you get what you pay for. I regret buying this from Bob's furniture store and should've paid 200-300 more and got it from a decent furniture store."
