Cancelled my Trip

"Initially everything went well with the original booking great price and friendly agents. Unfortunately, Bookit.com cancelled my trip via email to Aruba for July 18th 2020. 4 months away. I have to go through my credit card company to try and get a refund. The resort refused to redo our reservation. While I understand that we have a national pandemic right now you should in order to make it easier for us your customers issue a full credit to me by your company without me having to try to figure it out. I paid you so you should refund me. The hotel received zero money. Another option would have been is you could have reached out to see if we wanted to move the trip which we are willing to do and honor the price that we were originally given for the trip. I was taking my whole family 10 of us for our 25th wedding anniversary. "

PLEASE DONT BOOK WITH BOOKIT.COM THEY STOLE OUR MONEY

"WE STUCK IN PUNTA CANA . THEY TOLD THE HOTEL THEY ARE not PAYING BECAUSe THEY DONT HAVE MONEY, THEY DEBITED 1840 DOLLARS FROM OUR ACCT AND NOW IN THE HOTEL THEY JUST MADE THE RESERVATION AND THEY DID NOT PAY. WE HAVE TO PAY AGAIN, ALSO WE FOUND OUT THEY CANCEL OUR FLIGHT BACK AND WE HAVE TO PAY THE TICKET COMING BACK HOME.. IF THIS.IS HAPPENING TO SOMEONE ELSE PLEASE REPORT TO BETTER BUSSINESS BUREAU. DONT BUY WITH THEM"

Will NEVER BOOK another trip through you.

"My trip was CXL BY YOU and did not give me the right amount that I paid out, not to mention I paid a extra $198 by ACCIDENT and I was told that was not refundable. I called back in 10min after I realized what I have done. I should have gotten that back as well. One other thing I found out the Airlines was willing or took my information to see if they can give me a full refund, Your company FLAT OUT did not give any information how I can call the 3rd party that you used to book my flight. I would appreciate if you can send me that information, just in case. "

SCAM and FRAUD

"I paid for my trip on 2/26/2020. I am now out the entire cost because the company has closed and our booked resort was never booked. I received a cancellation email on 3/20/20 that my trip had been cancelled. You can't get thru on the 800# nor their website! DO RESEARCH!"

Out of Business?!?!?!?

"It was stressful booking our vacation as the support line could not offer any details beyond what was listed on the site. We simply wanted to know if the seats for the flight were upgrade-able after purchase. Then BOOM! On March 21st, 3 weeks later, we get an email saying our trip was cancelled due to Coronavirus. Oh, and don't bother trying to call them because they closed call centers on March 17th. Very suspicious. The website said all international trips prior to June 30th were being cancelled, when our trip was October 10th. The resort confirmed our reservation was cancelled. The airline said our tickets were still being held, but that I would have to contact BookIt to see if BookIt paid the airline yet else they could be cancelled. I told American Airlines that the BookIt number has been disconnected and American Airlines said I was just going to have to wait and they would address BookIt "concerns" at some point in the future. Did I just pay BookIt $3k for a 7 night, 8 day stay-cation?!?!? What BookIt claims is due to the Coronavirus seems more likely to be a ponzi scheme that folded when the travel industry hit rough times. BookIt somewhere else!!!!!!!!"

"I bought this **** travel insurance for what then! Then how in the actual **** do y’all tell people you won’t issue out a refund! For the people that didn’t cancel and were still making payments. I will be contacting and reporting someone! This is outrageous"

you ****! worst service ever!

"I have tried to call several times and when i have been able to get thorough I was told that i could cancel and them i got an email saying that you guys are not going to be available to take care of any business and I call the hotel to make sure everything was taken care of and nope. book it did not cancel my reservation before they went off line and now their site is inaccessible to cancel on line and their post says that they cant pay all the refunds right now! WTH?! so you canceled our reservations but didnt Finnish the process and cant refund our refundable payment until who knows when?!"

Terrible. Don't use

"Bookit never paid the resort and we had to pay twice for a room we already reserved in advance. This left us arguing with hotel management on vacation. Terrible experience."
