"I have only rented once from them, but would definitely do so again. I rented a 24-300 Canon L-series lens and was able to pick it up and return it from my local camera store (Action Camera in Roseville, CA) . The guy at the store went over everything with me to make sure I had what I ordered and did the same when I returned it. They sent me an email confirming my order initially, then sent me another one just before it was due to arrive, then another e-mail reminding me of when it was due back (while offering an extension if needed), then finally an email confirming they received everything back in good condition. Considering what it would cost to purchase this lense, the price of the rental was very reasonable. Great way to try out high end stuff before you buy (or things you can't afford to buy). Their website has a broad selection of camera gear as well as customer reviews of the equipment so it's easy to find what you're looking for, although it may be hard to choose among so many offerings. "

"I called Borrowlenses.com to confirm when I should go ahead and reserve some lenses, this was about a week before I needed to rent. They were very helpful in guiding me and answering my questions. I did have some issues with rental because I had to ship the lenses to an alternate address and I was in the middle of moving so I hadn't changed my address yet for my bank.
I was in a state of worry that it wouldn't work out, but they were persistent in making sure my info was verified. It all worked out in the end and because I went through this process once I won't have to do it when I rent again.
The cost of the shipping is a bit pricy, perhaps they can pass there shipper account savings to the customer in the future since we are already paying a lot to rent the lenses.
