I live in Juneau Alaska, and the lens arrive a day late, and I had to return it two days early because of mailing issues. The box it was shipped in was in poor shape surprisingly for such an expensive lens, all in all it's still a great deal."

"Three out of the four times, I rented a camera there was something missing. My last experience was my last. I drove up from Los Banos to the San Carlos location. I ordered the camera right in the lobby. I was shooting a once a year event in San Francisco and when I got to the location I realized there was no charger in the bag and the battery was dead! Last straw for sure. The first time the battery was missing. Then upon return they had the nerve to think we kept it, but we produced a receipt THEY requested, no refund awarded. The second time I ordered a camera for a red carpet event in Hollywood. I drove over 100+ miles to pick up in San Jose, CA and the camera wasn't there. When I spoke to the rep she said, she could see the order but they never processed it. A four hour trip for no reason, not to mention being without a camera at a major event. I own a magazine. The camera is the most important tool we use and Borrowlenses.com didn't do a thing to fix the problem except apologize for their mistake. Won't be back again. "
"I am currently a college student and I am taking photography classes, so I don't have very much money at all to spend on lenses. While school is on summer break, I wanted to continue to work on my photography and I only have 2 lenses the standard 18-55mm that came with the camera and the nifty 50mm f/1.8, however I wanted to test out a wide angle lens and take some beach photos. I rented the 10-22mm wide angle lens and it came in perfect condition. I used it for 4 days instead of the week though, but I just packed it back up in the box, placed the return label it came with and sent it on back and just recieved an email saying they recieved the rental back.
As a first time user, it was a great experience! I just didn't like that the shipping cost for 2 days was like nearly $23-$25! I thought that was a bit much as it shipped from the same state I'm in. But I will still come back to Borrow Lenses to rent again as it's hard to save up $1,000+ for a new lens to own. =)"
