"Boss Tools is a scam (also known as Boss Liquidation Inc), I foolishly placed an order for $2,000 2 months ago and I'm now experiencing what everyone else has already described here: http://www.redflagdeals.com/deals/main.php/ratings/vendor_info/BossTools.com

I have appointed a lawyer to look into this and we are building a strong case, chances are they'll have to pay a huge fine or else be put in jail. I'm not interested in just taking my money back, I'm determined to give them what they deserve. No one should be allowed to waste our money and time like that, and get away with it repeatedly. I'm looking for others that had similar experiences to join me as witnesses, so that we can build a stronger case. If you have shopped there and have been mistreated please contact me at ****@**** and mention BossTools in the subject (I have configured my mail service to NOT put "BossTools" emails in the spam folder). "Such a scam. I wish I had come here before ordering. They had one item I wanted at a good price. I decided to make the shipping cost hurt a bit less by ordering three other items. They told me one of the "other" items (a chisel) was backordered. I sent them an email to find out if they were shipping the other items in advance (since the chisel was back-ordered by a month). They didn't reply. I sent another email. They didn't reply. I sent ANOTHER email, telling them that they had better ship me my order or I'd do a chargeback. Finally they decided to get back to me, saying that it would all be shipped when the chisel came in. Since at this point the month was almost up, I was fine with that.

Two weeks after the "expected date of arrival" for the chisel, I emailed them again, asking where my order was. They ignored this email. I emailed again, this time threatening a call to the BBB. They sent me a notification that 2 of the items (still the "other items" that I didn't need or REALLy even want that much) had been shipped. I asked them what happened to the other two item. Email ignored. I asked them again, they said two weeks backorder. After three weeks, I emailed them again. They ignored me. A week later, another email, they ignored me. A week later, another email, saying that they should either ship my items or refund the two items I didn't recieve plus full shipping. No response. three days later, I emailed them asking what they decided. They said the order had been cancelled and I should expect a refund. A week and a half later, no refund. I contacted the BBB. Boss has now given me a refund of ONLY the price of the items. Basically, I paid $20 for shipping of items worth $10. It's not over yet.

Boss Tools WILL ignore your emails. Boss Tools WILL scam you. Boss Tools IS a rip-off.

Boss Tools is a scam. Do not trust them, and do not, under ANY circumstances, give them your money.

"If you are looking for a winner, Boss Tools is my choice for the least trustworthy on the Internet. They charged my Visa back in early June, supplied the regular cheery excuses and have never shipped the almost $100 worth of product. When I realized the nature of their business I stopped dealing with them directly.

Frankly more concerning is the value of the BBB statement regarding this operation – “As a BBBOnLine Participant, this company is a member of the Better Business Bureau, and accordingly meets all BBB membership standards.” Using the BBB online search tool for “Boss Liquidation Inc.”; (the business listed by the bureau through the BBB link on the Boss Tools site) offers only “There are no results for 'Boss Liquidation Inc.'.” One complaint that should be on record by this time is mine. I received confirmation of a filed complaint from the Windsor BBB two weeks ago (Friday, July 24, 2009) and have heard no more from them. Two weeks is not an eternity but long enough to allow the situation to fester unnecessarily. So for me I will continue to fight to get the products I paid for and view the BBB logo as nothing more than a badge some business use. (I just went to a few trusted sites where I have been doing business for years. They do not have a BBB logo. Maybe they don’t feel the need for one.)
