"Purchased an out of stock item in july of 2021, it was out of stock for 3 months. I then got an email saying it was shipped out, never received the item and now they wont help me out because its been too long since I ordered it. ... its a $10 part ... All the other negative reviews everywhere are correct, buy your tech elsewhere!"
"Order an item, they give you an ETA, then they claim it’s delayed, give you a new ETA, rinse, repeat. For months, and months, and months. You’ll never get your item. This isn’t just for GPU’s, also for components, power supplies, etc. They don’t charge you, but keep you in limbo and straight up lie to you and claim the “manufacturers provide the ETA’s”. If other major retailers are stocking the items but BLT never does, it’s not an issue with supply, it’s this company . Stay away, you’ll never receive any order, period. "
"I placed three orders since Feb 2021, and today I got email saying my last order was also cancelled, it was a dream which never fulfilled by them, then I ask why do you guys even bother?"
"They lie about products coming into stock, plain and simple. "
"The ETA keeps moving just slightly. It keeps my hope up that I will get my order and then it just shifts again."
"It's too bad, as I have read elsewhere that they used to have a good reputation. Because of what I had read, I have ordered several different items from them, from graphics cards to desktop CPUs. I haven't made any huge orders. Just one of each item (minus the 3400G, which I ordered two of).
One of the items I ordered had very few orders placed on it. I considered myself lucky, as I had got my order in very close to when the product was listed. Sadly, the manufacturer's estimated ship date was delayed. I was informed in an email. Then it happened again.
And again.
And again.
AND AGAIN.
You get the idea. Here we are, approaching EIGHT MONTHS of waiting. Every single item I have ordered from them, starting last year, has been perpetually delayed. There is NO WAY the "manufacturers" are giving them these fake estimates that keep changing. If that's the case, why would ShopBLT even provide any kind of estimate at all?
Take the 3400G for example - I was able to order one off Newegg. There's a microcenter about two hours from me with a stack of them in stock. These restock frequently nowadays, and you can finally order one without scalper markups.
But ShopBLT? NOPE. "Estimated" ship date is pushed back again.
They have shipped 0% of what I have ordered from them. 100% of my orders with ShopBLT have been either canceled, or endlessly delayed. Until they actually ship a product to me, they are a FAKE STORE in my book.
If they actually ship what I've ordered over the last several months, I'll be happy to update my review. Until then, buyer beware. "
"NO ONE has GPUs rn, I'm saying literally no one. You can't back order from anyone and the silicon shortage is making it near impossible to buy a card without using a bot. Take this in mind while reading all these stupid reviews left by impatient people. They are mad they can't get product but it's a global shortage, what do you want? Cards WILL be pushed back because manufacturers simply cannot make them fast enough. It's common sense people. Wait for your card like everyone else."
"Boughtb2 graphics cards in December, 4 months later they still haven't shipped.
They did raise the price and after emailing them one of their representatives said they have no control and told me to cancel the order.
Don't use them"
"I have our back ordered a video card which they have listed at msrp however they say that they will hold the order if the cost goes up more than they can absorb come time to ship. I I had to call in to adjust some information on the billing on my order since they say it's going to take a week or two and the lady was terrible to talk to does make me think about canceling my order. I will update you if they meet their estimates or if I give up because of their bad customer service. "
"Placed an order on Jan 8th with initial ETA of Jan 19. They just kept sending updates that item is delayed. Now it's March and new ETA is end of April. Customer support never reply to inquiry either. This place is a scam. "
"It's been over two (2) months since I put my order in for a GPU. Even though they pushed the delivery date back three (3) times, the thought of writing a negative review never crossed my mind... until the following series of events happened:
1) They magically 'rose' the price of my GPU by over 15% of my check-out price. Their reason was that the manufacturer changed the price of the item on them. (This was a first for me)
2) They asked TrustPilot to remove my review of my experience from their website. My story was neither false nor exagerrated... and shows that they are not exactly transparent with their business practices.
3) They delayed shipment a fourth time (The 'icing' on the cake)
A report to the BBB will also be in order...."
"When building a new pc it’s not unusual to want to clear away old boxes... they will not allow you to return any items whatsoever without the original packaging. Total ripoff over an expensive defective part that only seemed to work long enough for me to throw out my box!"
"I have not had any issue with BLT, shipping is great, 500X better than SuperBiiz. I ordered a processor from them on the night of XMAS eve, ordered shipped on 12/26, FedEx delivery date set for 12/31, they delivered it on 12/30."
"We did a ordered from this company, but they had to rescheduled multiple times with same reason: we don't have a this product for now.
Looks like they are just screaming customers. "
"This company is perfectly fine. Morons faulting them because crypto mining is driving up graphics card costs are truly idiots. I've been buying from them for years and they've never done me wrong. These guys complaining about availability apparently can't read, as they have real-time availability LOL! Read much? Anyway, they always tell you whats going on with your order and they let you pre-order very hard to get items. Morons who can't read are the only ones who leaving bad reviews. I told them about their bad rating here and they said they don't even monitor reseller ratings anymore because they can't reply unless they pay, and they only focus on trustpilot."
