"A few days ago,I attempted to order the sample pack,they they adverized,the price,would be just the shipping charges..
As I could not order it,via their website,it was not working...I called them to get more details on this sale.
Without my permission,they went ahead and charged my credit card,before I authorized it.
I then called them,and told them to cancel the order....I waited for a response ,and they told me,that the person who authorizes refunds,could not be reached.
This went on for 3 days....
I finally called my credit card company,and they told me.."..."they would handle it",which they did.
I just want to let you guys know,that,I have been a breathingcolors customer for many years,but,after this experience,their constant lies,being put on hold for up to 45 minutes,I will never order any paper,from Beathing Color..

"5 years ago I decided to try BC large format paper. I made changes to all my files to look right on this paper. When I ran out of the roll I was told that no more was available at the time. So I had to switch back to my old paper to finish my show and all that time was wasted. Also got some paper with flaws in the surface, the rep was extremely rude and suggested it was my own fault when I had literally just opened the box. Decided to never work with them again.
five years later, I decided I would try it again after getting a new large format printer. I ordered my paper online. ONE WEEK LATER I get an email saying the canvas is not in stock.
These are by far the most incompetent, rude, and lazy people in the business. Their rating here is 1.8, and every negative comment is responded to with excuses yet nothing seems to change. How do they stay in business like this? Huuuge markups on cheaply made products, thats how. By taking money and not shipping products, thats how. By paying employees so little they cant afford to work at BC; the employee turnover rate is so high that nobody ever knows what's going on. There is no reason for this company to be in business. They have literally failed every single time I try to use them. Good riddance. "
" I was trying to migrate my printer paper solutions over to Breathingcolor from Moab and a few other manufacturer/sellers due to the fact that there are multiple substrates I use that Breathingcolor offers under one "shop" that I would have to go through multiple vendors for. The solutions have been hit or miss, particularly with their varnishes. The death-knoll for my business with them revolves around a order for their Vibrance Metallic Paper, with I actually preferred over Moabs Slickrock. Under time constrain, and with ample time for the order to reach me, I ordered. The box, while labeled properly, contained a mangled roll of proofing paper... Lost clients and sales week one. Customer Service "fixes" the problem and ships out a new roll.... TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. Enter week ... no paper, more missed sales, still waiting for my order. I would have imagined any credible company would have at least tried to expedite the shipping... nope not these guys. If I could have given them zero stars I would have."
"I have used them for canvas, paper and stretcher bars. I no longer use them for canvas because they sent me defective canvas twice. I no longer use them for stretcher bars because the percentage of warped bars they send me is excessive. I am now looking for a new paper supplier because for three orders over the last two months they have either sent the wrong paper or told me after I've ordered the paper that they are out. This business is not reliable. "
