"This is the worst company to deal with, incompetence runs deep in this company! No one seems to know what they're doing, they tell you totally wrong information just to pass the "buck", they don't check notes in their system, make you wait for month or more because they will not call you back. Do not read forms that come from your doctor's office.
This is horrible company to deal with so avoid if possible! "
"I was directed by Optum that my medication to sustain my life would only be sent to me through Briova Specialty Pharmacy; this was told to me April 2017 since then Briova has (3) three times made mistakes on my refills today being the third I am currently out of medication which keeps me alive. I contacted them last week to fill the two needed meds and was told I was out of refills on one; which according to my RX bottled filled on 3-5-18 I have six (6) refills left on this med. Another time they shipped it to an old address and I had to chase it down, the last time the shipment did not arrive and I waited hours past my dose scheduled time for the med to arrive. I have no other option to obtain these meds except to pay out of pocket along with my regular payroll deduction for all other less vital medications! If you can avoid Briova"DO SO"!"
"I've had numerous delayed deliveries from them, the excuse being insurance authorization. I get it, that happens, this whole system ****, but they wait THE DAY BEFORE you're supposed to get the delivery to tell you, even when they've had the refill processed a week in advance. I have to plan my work around being home to receive this and get it into the fridge. Customer service is unhelpful as they seem not to know what is even going on. I hate Briova so much. You'd think a speciality pharmacy would understand getting medication to patients in a timely and hassle-free fashion. We've got enough to deal with. "
"Insurance is making me use them and after hours on phone and weeks of calling still no medication. They shipped a room temp medication in freezer packs on accident (how does this even happen!). Then I called back to get it reordered, they said they would ship it out right away and somehow the order gets cancelled by them on accident. I'm pregnant, high risk, and need to take this medication daily. It's been a nightmare using them and no one is held responsible for any of the mistakes they have been making. Don't use them!!!"
"No online or automatic refill, only using them because insurance requires it for my medication. I do not have time to call them ever 3 weeks to ask for a refill when every call takes at least 30 minutes. They are not helpful in answering questions, the people working there are obviously unhappy because most people dislike the pharmacy and the people on the phone have to deal with the mess that the company caused. "
"Unfortunately the pharmacy my doctor wanted me to use does not carry Benlysta self inject pens, so I'm stuck with these $&@holes. Was supposed to start my injections on 1/9/18 didn't get meds until 2/1/18. Now I have to say that the majority of the people I have talked to were pleasant, however there have been a few that were rude, or just fell out the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down! For example: I called to to refill my medicine, it came in opened the box and low and behold they sent pre-filled Syringes not pens! Which may not seem like a big deal to some but to me it's huge, it's the wrong delivery method and I am unable to use a syringe due to my condition. So I call them they tell me that the computer says they sent the right thing, after arguing with this lady for 20 minutes so puts me on hold and tells me to call back tomorrow the department I need is closed. So I call back go through the same crap argue with another idiot woman and finally after losing my temper and cursing at her I tell her I can take a picture and send it if she wants me to but I know what a damn syringe is for God sake I'm not an idiot and she hangs up on me! So I call back get a different woman and she tells me the people I need are closed and I will need to call back on Monday, so needless to say they screwed up my medicine I missed my dose because I can't hold a syringe and hopefully my CNS will hold off till they send me the right stuff! Thanks BriovaRx for $&@#%*^ up again!"
"I am an RN and deal with this pharmacy on a regular basis. I have to advocate for my patients and fight to get prescriptions filled in a timely manner. Pharmacies makes money by filling prescriptions but for some reason Briova has not figured this out. They will drag their feet when it comes to filling specialty drugs. Pts. are often left waiting days for delivery and will miss doses because these morons don't know how to fill a prescription. When I call to find out why there is a delay, I am placed on hold for extended amounts of time and am constantly transferred to other people. I am certain that most of their employees barely have a high school education. I apologize to my patient's when they are forced to use this pharmacy. "
"Never sent us the medicines and then tried to bill our credit card. This is a scam organization and you should avoid them entirely."
"The sales reps or the phone operators have no idea what they are doing/talking about. The management was also bad. No one knows how to do his or her jobs. I strongly recommend not to use the service. "
"This is the worst experience I have ever had with a medical company. They should be ashamed. "
"I recently changed from one health insurance to Aetna. Because under my first health insurance coverage I had Briova for humira pen, I was told by Aetna that I could stay with Briova. Note: delivery of 2 injections was 25$ under my first insurance and now is 50$ (this is what happens when there is non competitor for a drug in the market). Anyways, I saw my doctors who sent the prior authorization to have humira approved by Aetna pharmacy, I called Aetna to ensure that I could keep Briova, and I also spent over 30 mins over the phone with Briova at least 3 times to finalize the shipping of the drug since doctors, insurance, and Briova too approved my updates. Last Thursday I got a call from a Briova rep who said that something was still pending. Here we are, I do another riund of calls, make sure that everybody is updated and call back Briova... this time I spoke with another rep ( Tuesday). She said that at the latest my Humira would have arrived on Wednesday.... then Friday....then... today is Sunday and I am with no drug... The level of mediocrity of Briova is beyond imagination. There is basically a joint effort that needs to bring together doctors, health insurance (Aetna specialty pharmacy department in my case), and Briova that phisically ships the drug. This trio thing clearly is inefficient and overpriced. The chances to delay everything is worsened by unavoidable and endless phone calls back and forth. How can people put up with this inefficiency? How can we put up with this!!!! I need this drug for RA and they have no sense of responsibility towards me and other patients. They sell a drug like Humira, so important to conduct a decent life with RA or other auto immune diseases but they act like they are selling you a roll of toilet paper at Walmart. Meanwhile, I am delaying my Humira injection for the absurd inefficiency and incompetence of a so called specialty pharmacy Briova and Aetna.... shame on you both. Your business ****. M."
"Deliberately miss led about cost, final bill very high considering that the actual administration of the medication was done by myself and no education required because I am an RN, and the medication was an inexpensive generic antibiotic . Customer service people rude unprofessional and uninformed. Very unhelpful always had an excuse not to connect you to a supervisor. One person I spoke with was actually eating. I would not advise anyone to use this company."
"Every department must be trained to lie. HOSPITAL rep,PHARMACIST, OFFICE WORKERS, and the OFFICE MANAGER. They will lie and never help you. Please do not use this company in Marietta,Georgia"
"I never seem to be able to get my prescription on time. Whether I refill online or call in there is always a problem. Currently I have been on the phone for about 1.5 hours trying to get my medication that I am supposed to take tomorrow. About a week ago I ordered it online to arrive today. When I saw it wasn't here I called and they said it is not due for refill until tomorrow-which is the day I am supposed to inject it! I am leaving town early tomorrow morning and now I am responsible for an "override" on my meds to be delivered "early" to a secondary location. Only 1 over-ride approved by the way. So this is my one even thought its not my fault. Oh, and they are supposed to be refrigerated. so I get to wait around the hotel and hope they arrive to put the additional supply in the fridge. Wish there was an alternative "
"If I could give negative stars I would and I'm not surprised they only get one star from the nurses who are scheduled to come for the infusion and blood work and show up late or not at all to the fact that when the services are over they don't care about the remaining products that cannot be just thrown out in the garbage. The refuse to pick them up. I even called for their location and I would drop them off and they won't do that either. Well I found out their location locally and if they don't come and get their stuff I will be dropping it off. We will never use these people again. Terrible service all around"
