"ordered some linux cds. ordered took a long time to arrive. i have ordered from this seller many times before and the cds always arrived fast."
"02/18/05 Just ordered another set of CDs and they arrived quickly considering the company is in France. Unfortunately it looks like the disks were bent in shipping. I told Mark about it and he sent a replacement set which arrived even more quickly than the original order. I'm very satisfied and recommend you check them out for your Open Source CDs.bh.
.
I'm still modeming so I buy my Linux distributions pre-burned onto CDs. I have bought from an eBay seller (bootablelinux, if you're interested) with disappointing results - disk went bad after 2 months and they gave me an unbelievable song and dance over replacing it - they ended up refunding me (notice I used 'refunding' as an active verb, as in "here take your damn money and shove it") instead of supporting their product.
. So I found this outfit thru their small ad on distrowatch.com. They were very helpful with my pre-sales questions, so I placed a small order of 4 disks and they were shipped promptly.
. The disks were packaged well and had nicely printed labels.
. A nice little lagniappe was a copy of "The Open CD". An extra disk with a bunch of Open Source sofwares for Windows.
. Unfortunately, the company is in France. So shipping takes a while (ordered June 25th, received July 2nd).
. They will burn just about any available Linux (at my urging they have relisted Knoppix v.3.3, as it includes some software that was left off v.3.4 to make room for the dual kernels), BSD etc. disks and I recommend that you check them out.
. I am very pleased with their service. Apparently Knoppix 3.5 will be distributed on a bootable DVD! I'm sure these guys will have it soonest.
