The Bravecto medication I received was manufactured in Austria yet the HeartGard Plus was still manufactured in the US but targeted to customers abroad. The countries of origin are subject to change. The medication is marked with the same potency as what we buy here and is safety sealed at the factory. The money you save is absolutely enormous. "I ordered what I thought would be similar to the Heartgard Plus we all know and love. Well, after placing the order I was able to get in touch with an agent, FINALLY. The packaging from what I ordered looked like that of Canada or the UK, which I am fine with. However, in speaking with them it would be coming from Australia instead. Although the dosage is similar, the regulations and guidelines for testing are different. After reading numerous reviews about how dogs were still contracting heartworms from taking the Australian version and then being told that it would take at least 3-5 weeks to ship, I decided to cancel the order. I was then informed it would take 3-5 business days for the refund to show up in my acct. I waited that length of time and then some before I tried to contact the company via phone. They are not accepting calls. I then tried chat. Chat just kept spinning and after numerous tries for at least a couple of days I gave up. I then tried again and was able to get in touch with someone on chat via the computer. They apologized and stated it would be 24-48 hours and the refund would be in my account. I again tried to call because another week has passed and I still have not received my refund and I still cannot get in touch with anyone. I finally sent an email and hopefully that will work. I had such high hopes for this company, but all hopes have now been shattered since I will never order with them again. Terrible customer service and still no refund!"
"ordered Heartgard assuming it was made in the USA and received what was made in Australia. I thought nothing of it... guess what, my dog got hook worm being on the product.
I called Heartgard HQ located in Deluth, GA and they informed me that the Australian made product is not approved to be sold in the USA.
PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
