"I have ordered products of theres in the past. They have great products. Never dealt with rebates from them though."
"This company seems to make a practice of rejecting legitimate rebates. My submission was rejected due to lack of a UPC. I know for a fact that the UPC was included. This company will turn to bold-faced lies to deny rebates."
"Rebate ripoff. Bought an external drive. Sent rebate within rebate period, but they found a new loophole: Rebate request must be postmarked within 14 days of purchase.
My issue is with the company. If they resort to this kind of underhanded technicality to avoid financial responsibility, do they do the same with their hardware purchases? After all, they're just a repackager of of some other manufacturers' hardware (at the lowest bid?) I suggest buying from a real company and not just a paper company like this. My drive hasn't failed yet...but it's not even two months old. There must be some reason why Buffalo is cheaper than Seagate, Western Digital, Fuji, and Maxtor!"
