My online order was cancelled 3 times in apparently because my billing address doesn't match the address on my credit card statement. I checked the credit card statement and reordered with the exact address. It still did not work. So I called the customer service to place the order. This time they didn't send me any receipt to my email. Seems they must have written down the wrong email. I don't think they want to actually sell their products. So if you can find it somewhere else I would strongly recommend you buy it there and not from build.ca"

"I ordered a part from Build.ca for the first time last week and was truly impressed with their service the whole way through. My order was confirmed immediately on a Sunday evening, shipped first thing Monday morning and was in my hands on Wed Morning in Vancouver from Ontario. The part was correct the first time around and their pricing was so much better than everyone else I'd been able to find. If this is your standards for service, I'll definitely be using them again. "I was a little wary about ordering from build.ca based on some reviews but I can tell you those concerns didn't last long. I was looking for a new motor for an old S110u Broan bathroom fan that the manufacturer apparently doesn't sell anymore. Actually 2 fans died at the same time but I decided to just order 1 and see how things went. To my surprise, the motor arrived within 2 days and worked like a charm! So I ordered another...same thing! So pleased with Build.ca and I didn't even mention that they were priced half from all other sites! Thank you guys!

"Disappointing customer service.
I purchased two toilet seats from Built.ca and within the warranty period one of the soft close lids stopped working, which with little one’s is a big pain. I first reached out to Bemis directly and was advised to go through the company which I purchased and that I would need to send a photo/video of the defect to receive a replacement and would not need to return the seat. I reached out to Build.ca and continued to follow-up for a month. After a month, I finally received an email asking me to return my seat- uninstalled and unused for replacement (NO EXCEPTONS). I reminded them it was a used seat and was advised that I still had to return it to receive a replacement. For sanitary reasons alone, this should not be procedure, but we also now have to either purchase a new seat in the meantime or go without for who knows how long until a replacement is finally sent. I wouldn’t order from or recommend Build.ca based on their lack of customer service."

"Refusing to refund me for a sink they never shipped. Scam company. Have called thrice Now; each time agent says they will cancel it in twenty minutes. Once was four days ago. Once this morning. Called back, I’m angry. Customer service agent said she’s going to hang up on me and she proceeded to do so. She’s the same woman I talked to Tuesday who lied about the refund. The company has officially stolen $1000 from me and I will need to go through the hassle of calling my credit card company. Please note the the majority of companies don’t charge you until it’s shipped. "

"after reading all the other negative reviews I was skeptical to order from this website but i had no choice the motor assembly for my bathroom fan was no longer available at other stores and I found the exact same model replacement number with build.ca at very reasonable price. So i went ahead and ordered it, right away i received a order confirmation which seemed normal however 5 mins later i received a confirmation of shipping of my item. thats when i thought, ok this is a scam nobody sends orders out within 5 mins of ordering this is automated and im never going to see my package. The next day when i got home from work a package was waiting for me and to my disbelief it was my order shipped via purolator. I opened it and the replacement motor assembly fit right into the bathroom fan opening and plugged right in and it worked. the replacement was not identical it looked like it was redesigned to function better, motor look better, the way it was mounted looked more secure, the use of rubber mounts and the whole item was galvanized steel instead of painted so it wont rust like the old one. i never write reviews but i must say in this case it was necessary highlight my great experience with them.

"I purchased a small inexpensive item, around 50.00. All over the website it says EASY RETURNS. The item would not fit so I asked to arrange for a return only to be told I should read the fine print as my item was not returnable. I would NOT have purchased had I known. The reason it did not fit is because there was NO item description on the website. NEVER AGAIN "

"Purchased an item that was "In-stock" in May. Card was charged right away but the item was not shipped. Called and asked and they said it was "in-stock" but not anymore. So had to wait for the next shipment to arrive. They shipped it a month later but to the wrong address. Called again, said they would look into it and get back to me. They never did. Called again to inquire what's going on and they tell me their system is down and can't check anything but asked me to email them instead. What a waste of time. Not the way to do business in 2020.
I don't want to risk cancelling my order as based on other reviews that I am only now reading, I might not get my money back or the item I purchased. Just avoid!"
