"I can not speak to the quality of the ammunition, but my Yugo Surplus box arrived with minimal paper packing and the ammo box suffered chipping on almost every corner and edges, a cracked box slat, as well as quite a bit of paint loss.
I carefully looked at shipping options and, despite this statement: "... we will take care to use sturdy boxes, plenty of packing material, and lots of tape.", I chose to pay extra for full coverage packing protection.
"Why?" Because the box was an important part of the sale! I quote the advertisement:
"The Cyrillic stencilled wooden crate alone makes it well worth the price -- especially if you need a prop for the James Bond movie you're filming in your backyard."
I expected an ammo box with packing material taped around the box ("plenty of packing material and lots of tape." , …Right? There was NO extra tape anywhere and the box was a joke for this item's weight and material: ammo box is 20 x 12 x 6 inches; the packing box is 22.25 x 16.75 x 6.5 inches). The ammo box weighs 60.6 lbs and the shipping box has a crush rating of 65 lbs. and an edge crush weight of 32lb/inch). 8 sheets of paper wedged around it in a box with only inches of clearance ( Even a box within the box or a simple piece of cardboard taped around the wood would have prevented most of the damage incurred.
The inside of the shipping box included paint chips and wood splinters but I was told it appeared the damage was the shipper's fault and that the damage was commiserate with something that old DESPITE the obvious new wood chips and shiny metal under the paint loss). The INSIDE of the shipping box showed more wear and tear than the outside. I was told it was the shipping company's fault and since the ammo survived, I will just have to deal with the damage. I was shunted to 3 different "customer service" representatives who all blamed the shipper and offered me between $15 store credit and $50 refund for shipping on a $725 purchase.
DO NOT buy this ammo if you care about the box. DO NOT pay extra for safe shipping.

"I spent thousands of dollars on ammo, and was extremely pleased. One shipment, FedEx didn't deliver the ammo, and BulkAmmo expected me to pay for it even though I didn't receive the ammo. BulkAmmo got mad that I did a chargeback on my credit card since they wouldn't refund my money after not receiving the ammo, they red-flagged my account and address. After long discussions with their customer service, they convinced me to pay for the missing shipment and they will remove the red flag and re-ship the ammo. A week later, I received the shipment and all was fine. A month later, I attempted to purchase more ammo, I was asked to take my business elsewhere."
"I got my house blacklisted but understandable because I’m not 21(even though in Louisiana which is where I live the age is 18 and I’m 20. But to blacklist my brothers house when he tries to order it and my neighbor because they suspect it’s going to me, witch it was not at that point anymore.(they heard about the deal and tried to get them some for them selves) and next thing you know they’re blacklisted because I’m not 21 even though it’s for them"
"Ordered 500 rounds. Had an issue 2 boxes of 50 rounds getting lost in transit by the carrier. Nikki in customer service quickly resolved the problem and sent 2 replacement boxes after confirming the boxes were lost in transit.
I would highly recommend for value and customer service."

"I bought 500 rounds of 6.5 sent my money in on cash app a week later never received any confirmation or order number. Started a chat and they told me order was not complete they had a min of 1000 rounds. They would not return my money or send out the 500 rounds. Look over there website good , no address numbers, no one answers the phone and all they want to do is cash app and Venmo. I’m screwed this place is not legit and they are thief’s!! Had my son chat with them without them knowing and they told him 500 round min on orders . This was my fault because I used cash app have no recourse but these are low life’s please do not use them "
"I ordered 1000 147 gr federal hi shock ammo at a sale price of 599.00 never recieved a confirmation email I called a couple days later and spoke to someone named steve who said order was placed not to worry. (I have since been told there is no steve,it is just a name all salespeople use. The price for the hi sock was normally 770.00 on sale for 599.00 sometime later I recieved the box. I unfortunately did not open box right away . (although it would not have mattered) When I did it was 1000 bullits by Fiocchi,. I called to tell them. The representative said that she could not tell me the price of Fiocchi that day because I do not believe Fiochi was that high. I asked to see what the Hi shock by federal was that day and they could not tell me. To return the Fiochi they saaid I would have to pay shipping and 10% resocking fee and only get credit. I told them to stick it Fiochi now sells on another site for 379.00 / 10000. I believe they switch orders at same time to sell nthings they want to get rid of. Horrible company and customer service. I assured them I will spread the word every time I go to the range"
"Don't let a bunch of idiots that don't know sh&t about firearms or ammo scare you away. Most of theses Imbeciles probable put the freedom seeds in backwards or shot themselves. Great prices, wont sell you something that isn't ready to ship and get there in 2-3 days where most places take 2-3 weeks. Pay the .99 cents for over packing( you cheap A$$) and it will sill be beat up on the outside when you get it, but its heavy objects in a carboard box its gonna happen.... everything inside looks great. I will continue to use them in the future"

"I bought two boxes of Sellier-Belloit .45 ACP ammo from them, with which I am pleased. I later bought three boxes of TulAmmo from them, which I cannot fire at the range because it is steel-core ammo. There was nothing in the product description stating that the bullets were steel-core, so I assumed that they weren't. I can't return the ammo because they don't have a return policy, so I am out $150 and not a happy customer."
"Its apparent this company don't care about the feedback. Never seen one response from them addressing issues or concerns. I got what i ordered...but packaging was horrible. The outside box looked like it was in a soccer game and 10 of the individual boxes inside were busted open and contents just rolling around inside. Not the best way to get repeat business from somebody like me who spent over $1000. "
