Rude Manager

"I found a costume for a dog in a messy display on the floor, and I wanted to buy it. It had a price tag. The cashier kindly told me that it was a donation piece, and I kindly asked why it was on the floor. If something is on the floor WITH A PRICE TAG, one has the right to buy it. I asked to speak to the manager. KIZCI MOTLER. I asked to pay ten times more than the price tag (over the donation value). As if she owned the place, Kizci refused to sell me the piece with an aggressive and mean attitude. I asked why she allowed the piece to be on display if it wasn't to be sold. I asked if she could find a solution, and she said she didn't want to. I've never been so insulted as a customer before. She didn't even let me finish my sentences. After Kizci left, I said to the cashiers that I hoped they'd get a new manager soon, and they agreed. The store is in horrible shape, and I took pictures as proof. I know you are an affordable store, but this is no excuse for the lack of customer care or appreciation shown by the Burlington representatives. I've never been treated so badly before during a shopping experience. Kizci doesn't deserve this position, and I will be following the turnout."

Online purchase disaster

"I was unable to get a copy of my invoice in a timely manner, so that I could return the dress that didn't fit. Dress was ordered May 15th, and arrived May 23. I never received a copy of the invoice but I did get tracking information. Dress did not fit, so I requested a copy of my invoice from Burlington Online. I received a case number and after 48 hours, was sent a copy of my invoice. I go to the store to make the return and there is no bar code on the invoice so the store can't refund it. I go back home and request another copy of my invoice so that I can make the refund. I get a case number and an email a few days later and they said they sent it to my email but the email listed in the notice wasn't my email. I contact them again and told them they sent it to the wrong email. They apologize and sent me another email saying that they are sending a copy of the invoice to my email and list the correct email. Yay! But it never comes....Today I call and they locate and email a copy of my invoice with the barcode on it .Yay, again! But then they advise me that I only had 30 days from the date of the order to return it. So I can't return it and get a refund. Today's customer service rep was very helpful but the rest of the experience was ridiculous."

"Do not order moline from this store!! Their return policy is a nightmare!! It is impossible to find a customer service number to call! I honestly think they play stupid to try and keep you from getting your money back! Shady company!"
