"On March 26, 2003, I purchased a Buslink CD-RW drive at Best Buy that had been advertised with a $30.00 rebate from Best Buy and a $20.00 rebate from Buslink. I submitted the rebate slips, with the required documentation, on March 27, 2003. I received the $30.00 rebate from Best Buy within a couple of months, but have not received the $20.00 rebate from Buslink.
I have called Buslink's rebate status phone number, 1-***-***-**** Ext. 512, and left voice mail messages inquiring about my rebate status. NO RESPONSE. I have sent E-mail messages to ****@**** inquiring about my rebate status. I received an automatic E-mail response that said that a reply would be sent within two business days. BUT NOTHING AFTER THAT.
I have since filed a complaint with the California State Attorney General's office about this company's lack of providing the rebates that were advertised.
I would advise anyone that is about to make a purchase of a Buslink product that is advertised with a rebate, to be aware that they will probably not receive the rebate."
