"I ordered a Tripp Lite Isobar surge protector for a rather strikingly good price of $31.98 shipped and paid via PayPal on Saturday, February 9. It appears that it was the only one they had in stock, since they wouldn't let me buy two.

After a week of hearing nothing, on February 17 I received an email, "Thank you for your order from BuyCheapo.com". Looking more closely at it, I noticed that there was a line that simply said, "Your credit memo ####".

A Paypal refund came in at the same time. So at least they refunded the money, but they took a week to do so, there was no other communication, and never any explanation. My guess is that they simply didn't have it in stock anymore, or sold it already.

Mainly lacking in customer service, although it's a bit suspect that they had a product for such a low price, and then canceled the order. P.O. Box address, too, rather than a business address."
