"Similar experience to others. Agreed to price in November '22. Had initial response on Dec 21 promising prompt payment, saying "I will make sure this is completed today asap." Fast forward to Jan 21 response to my follow up, "I will work on this during the weekend." Nothing. Pinged again on April 10 and again today, April 18 and getting no response. I noticed the owner posted to the Trust Pilot website that he's in severe financial distress and likely declaring bankruptcy. The website says they're not taking any more devices, so I think it's unlikely more people will be impacted, but feeling sorry for all those who already sent their device in and are trying to get paid. I only hope there's some truth in the claim in the owner's post that he's going to try to ensure everyone gets what's owed them. Not holding my breath."

"Complete scam - sent them 5 devices!! They claimed they were all damaged or defective in someway so they could offer 1/2 the promised $. They offered to return the devices. When I took them up on their offer they ghosted me.

No money, no devices - steer clear. On the other hand Gazelle and SellMyMac both paid within a few weeks - no problems."

"This is a scam. They offered a reasonable price for 7 old iPhones from various years ($235 in total) . Once they received the phones, they claimed some were still locked via Apple. After weeks of back and forth, they finally confirmed that all were unlocked and they promised payment. It has been 4 months now, 19 emails and 16 text messages. They have paid for 1 of the devices ($39). The last texts from Matthew Rosenfield were "I will complete payment today" and "Hello, working on the remaining devxies (sp) now." Those were from one month ago."

"I sent an iPhone to them in November of last year and got lots of emails saying it was received, processed and the check was on the way but nothing has ever been received. I filed a complaint with the BBB but they could not get them to respond either. Stay away they cannot be trusted. "

Someone named Matthew said they would offer me $91 for the iphone but then never followed up with payment. I called, texted, and emailed multiple times with no response. After writing a negative review on trustpilot, they emailed me saying I would receive payment in 36 hours. It's been 3 days and I have still not been paid. Do not send your electronics to them - it's a fraud operation. "

"Sent my iPhone into BuyMyPod in November. Was originally offered $110 for my phone. After inspection, they reduced the offer to $95, which I was fine with.

Two days later, they backed out on their offer of $95 (even though I had immediately accepted their first offer) and reduced the offer to $47. I rejected their second offer and asked them to return the phone. I never received a response.

Two months have passed and I haven't received my phone back nor a check for their offer. I've texted three times, emailed twice, and even called directly. No responses. Really disappointing customer service. Stay away from BuyMyPod!"

"This company stole my iPod. They offered me substantially less when they received my device, so I asked them to semd my device back as they offered to do. They have not done that. They even gave me a fake tracking number for shipping my device back to me! They have not paid me, and it's been months since they received my device. When I message the owner, all I get are excuses. Terrible company, stay away!"
