"I went through the order and checkout process online today. I placed an order for a Canon EOS 1DS Mark II Digital Camera. The price was low, but not as low as some of the NY camera stores selling grey market cameras.
I inquired via email as to the offering. (Although they claim to be based in Brooklyn, their website states the phone lines will not be installed for 10 days due to a move to a new facility.) They assured me that they sell only new and US market products with the manufacture's warranty.
At final checkout instead of a secure site asking for credit card info, I was told that an email would be sent detailing the payment process. It turned out that the only payment structure they accept is e-gold. Money is exchanged through Gold Bullion transactions completed through an entity based in Nevis (a Caribbean Island). As best I can figure, these transactions do not use currency and may be made to countries that do not transact with the US. I doubt that the buyer has any recourse in the event of fraud. I do not know that a buyer will be defrauded, but if so, unlike a credit card or paypal transaction, there is no arbitration process.
All in all, I think that I will order from one of the usual NY bandits. At least the risks of high-pressure sales tactic, grey market products, and minimum order values are known. I have a good chance of getting something for my $6000.
I would love to see a reveiw from a successful client, but I don't wish to blaze new ground here."
"I agree with the previous reviewer. This site is a fake and they only accept a crappy service called "e-gold" as payment. It's very fishy. Just look at this pricing chart for god sakes...

I have a feeling this site is a method of identity theft and/or a way to take your money and run. BE CAREFUL!!"
"The site is fake, but it seems that they have not started yet. They are taking orders but all you'll have is a thank you message from the automated system.
Please take a look at their "Terms of Use" - it does not look like they are going to sell you anything.
Search engines can't tell anything about this business as nobody ever told anything.
Here is the first impression.
